Exactly, if it is +-10% the alcohol is not even detectible. That's why I'm thinking it's not that high, but again I could be wrong (been wrong many times before).

 

Is it still on tap at the ferm or the brew cafe?

 

My headache is telling me it was indeed 9.7.

I got there at 6:15 or so and the line was insanely long but it was not a miserable experience, it kept moving. It was pretty close to 7 when I got in and if I had been 15 minutes late I probably wouldn't have gotten the Milkshake.

It's definitely tasty and unlike anything I've ever had but a little sweet for me. Its the first TH Milkshake I've ever had but I'd imagine the ones with a fruit with more acid like strawberry would cut some of the sugary vanilla bean blast going on.

Never got into beer trading with strangers before but I might trade off my 3rd 4-pack for something else...

 

So how long did HopHands last? Did that make it to the bar?

So it seems these days as long as you get in line by 5 you are safe no matter the release.

 

No, didnt make it to the bar. Think it was gone by 630 (fewer cans available)

 

Did anybody have both the watermelon milkshake (released on tap with double mango milkshake eight weeks ago) and the watermelon double milkshake? I'm curious about the watermelon flavor with the higher abv. I really enjoyed the original one especially in the hot weather. Very refreshing.

 

Once the line got moving, it actually was not that long. The thing that was scary was getting there at 4:15 or so and seeing how long it was at that point, with the majority of people sitting in chairs which really made it look much longer. Once they opened the doors and the line compressed to what it really was, it was not all that long.

Anyway, I am trading away a four pack and getting some really nice Grimm and Other Half beers in return.....and I still have almost 2 four packs left for me. Win, win.

 

I arrived at 5pm. I saw the line and thought there was no way I was getting any. Damn shame that I drove home.

 

The alcohol is so hidden it's scary. Could be a top ten hangover beer.

Got a chance to try Fuzzier Yellow while waiting which was right up there

 

Let's talk about tomorrow's Para release. I've never been to one of these before.. Is the turnout much crazier than what we've seen with past recent bottle releases? I'd love to get out of there as close to noon as possible so I can still make kickoff on the tv..

 

This should no doubt be the most crowded release they've had at Fermentaria. Given the 1 bottle limit, I'd be surprised if anyone gets shut out but if you want to get out of there close to noon, be prepared to get there several hours early.

 

I was thinking of getting there between 9 and 9:30. I really hope that's early enough to be within the first 50.

You were able to walk up and buy Para 4 and Para 5 until at least 3pm. Similar 400 count, 1pp

 

Showed up at 12:40 and didn't wait in line for more than 5 minutes. Seemed they had a decent amount of cases left too.

 

If I only get one of the Para bottles which one should I go for? I'm assuming no one has tried them get.

Edit: guess 7 is out. Anyone know if they still have 6?

 

I think 6 sold out around 3 today.
