Good beer. Everything else is just add-ons.

Totally understand. But look at OP and the authors involvement with his post. He has zero interaction with anyone, basically posted a question, sat and took in free info, then left probably for good. Only reason I said what I said is that I felt the OP author was not too sincere in his efforts thats all. It almost appeared to me anyway as if he had zero clue about the entire industry. Anyway, no major issue. I probably was a crab that day anyway, LOL. :grinning::grinning:

I would modify that to say "a good variety of good beer." I like a wide range of beers and I just don't go back to many one dimensional breweries. Something like Rare Barrel would be an exception to that rule, but if a brewery just makes good IPAs (cough*ESBC*cough) I'm really not interested in visiting the brewery; I'll just pick up a bottle here and there. Fieldwork and Beachwood jump out as model breweries to me.

Icing on the cake would be at least decent food too. It's mildly annoying to have to plan food intake AND beer intake.

As far as games go, I love having cornhole/bags available at a brewery

I look for comfort, great and friendly service where i feel king. Hot girls. Fair pricing. Good ambient music is a plus. A dancing floor would be nice and the girls like it, nobody wants to play games but it may be good as an excuse for people interaction.

Having the best beers is secondary to me. An easy to find an not expensive beer like Founders Centennial is enough to me.

And if you don't have tables where we can smoke tobacco i will never ever consider it.

Games are definitely good. Water, soda, and snacks for non drinkers too. I like a friendly atmosphere where everybody knows my name. lol. A place where people feel comfortable is great. Also good beer is the most important part!

    Beer.

For realz now. Assuming that good beer is #1 for everyone, I prefer places that have these items in order of preference:
    1 - FOOD
    2 - FOOD
3 - Guest drafts and bourbon
    4 - Competent staff
5 - Enough seats and pissers
    6 - A TV or 2
    7 - Carry out bottles/cans

I like when the music is not super loud. I like to be able to hear my friends talk.
