    My grandmom was from Nc, I grew up in Pa. I haven't a clue how to make it, the receipe died with her, but it is distinctive. No BBQ no spices other than salt and pepper I'd guess. Pork, Beef, vegetables , potatoes , and I'd assume it's a tomato base. Nice to experiment.

    Great games today. My Bengals, who the NFL has now made play their opener on the road for 7 straight years, are on their way to another playoff loss. Watching some more football now while drinking this.

    Pretty pithy, but a pretty good beer. A lot of grapefruit, spicy hops, and that earthy English yeast in a solid malty base. Nicely balanced.

    Canned 8/23, store got it 9/9. Usually they get them at 9-10 days old, so this is a bit of an anomaly in terms of being older. Still tasting damn good.
