Karbach Great American Bottle Share

I just registered as well.

 

I'm almost considering driving all the way from Austin for this.....

 

never been to a brewery bottle share can some enlighten me on how they work

 

Looks like their rule is that everyone has to bring AT LEAST 1 22oz bottle of something not available in Texas and not produced in the last year. You can bring more than 1, but at least 1.

HMM... I wonder if they will make an exception for a fresh bottle of Maine Beer Co. Lunch and Zoe

 

Ask on their FB page, but someone asked a similar question, and the response was "the beer can not have been sold in the last 12 months."

 

well its sold out anyways.

 

Tweet and website just said 22oz not from Texas, pretty shitty if it has to be something a year old if you ask me. Also, the event is at capacity.

That is more like it. Lots of great beers would have been excluded otherwise...Anyway I was going to sign up for this, and there was room when I first looked. I decided to check my work schedule before committing. Less than 5 minutes later it is all booked up. Oh well, next time.

 

Definitely was an "act fast" event! I'm interested to hear about how a bottle share with 60 people goes

 

I've never been to a bottle share bigger than 10-15 people, so this sounds pretty cool.

 

Come to Freetail for La Muerta day, there will be plenty to share!

 

I'll be there. Thinking Russian River as my entry. Lots of inquiries on Facebook re: homebrew and rare TX beers a la Divine Reserve 12.

 

I refuse to believe DR12 is rare since I have a case sitting in my pantry.
