Lund & Byerly in SLP had a lot of BBSA for 12.99/4 pack this weekend.

 

Forgive my ignorance here, been out of the game a while.. What is the deal with Pseudo Sue? I haven't seen this in stores(MG area) for a few months. G-Will BC said it's been gone for a while?? Last batch I had was that awesome melony batch from May I believe it was.

 

I was just looking for some & a liquor store employee told me there hadn't been a shipment in over a month (this was last week). Other than a couple of beer museums, it wasn't on shelves at most of the 'standard' stops I made.

 

Anyone know if that '12 Abyss is still hanging out at Top 10 SLP?

 

08/04 was last ship of Sue to twin cities that i saw . Stores (2) that ive talked to said rep has said may be 2 more weeks for MN,

 

Last week in Milwaukee there were cases of Sue around, but all dated back from mid July.

 

I am in charge of ordering at a local liquor store. Talked to the rep today they said it will be back in a few weeks. Any Pseudo Sue you have seen around lately was old. It didn't dawn on me to ask what happened. Like was there a bad batch? But I will next time I see him.

 

Also Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro is 4 weeks out after the recall.

 

That's not true. I've been drinking 8/4 (I think it's 8/4, may be 8/6...somewhere around there) a lot lately and it's still tasting great.

 

Probably depends on your definition of old. Personally I choose to pour out anything older than 2 days as every good BA'ed should.

 

Not super close to Maple Grove, but I bought 8/4 Pseudo Sue at the Golden Valley Byerlys yesterday. And yes, it still tasted quite good.

 

Stopped in yesterday and they were all gone...

 

Zeelander is showing up in Saint Paul today.

 

Cellars Plymouth had 12, 13, 14 and 15 Abyss and '14 Dissident yesterday.

 

I've another weird question...any breweries around that have magnets and bottle openers available for purchase? Most, if not all, the ones I frequent are pretty much glasses or T-shirts. I've also never actually been in the Surly gift shop, I assume this would be something they have?

 

I think Summit and Surly have both. They have online stores in addition to their gift shops. I would also go to the Beer Dabbler store.

 

I know Surly does because I bought one of those flat bar tender type ones for my buddy.

 

Not sure if you're still looking, but Haskell's MG has several bottles as of tonight

 

Goose Island just said they'll be releasing Juliette. Anyone know of it being here yet?
