Zwanze Day at Fonta Flora

    Been waiting a while to make this thread and was starting to doubt whether it was really happening or not, but it is! Not sure if I'll actually be able to go or not since it's in 3 weeks and there are basically no details available at this point, but what an awesome day for both NC beer and for Fonta Flora! Congrats to them!

    If there is any then I haven't seen it yet. Maybe someone like @HopBeard can come along and help shed some light in this thread at some point!

    Less than 3 weeks actually I guess if it's going to be held on October 1st like most everywhere else.

    I am so hopeful that they just do tickets through BPT or something simple....

    Hard for me to believe it wouldn't be ticketed, at least for the Zwanze pours. I could also see them just selling tickets at the taproom. But hopefully the event in general is open to all.

    I heard someone mention possibly doing it in the space where they do State of Origin. Not sure if that's feasible or not, but would be cool.

    Agreed that would be awesome. I'm just not sure what, if any, infrastructure they have out there at this point.

    They were supposed to start operations by year end so you would think they would at least have enough of an infrastructure to hold an event out there. Would need to run shuttles to town but I would think they have water and electricity to be able to run the event.

    That said, i have plans Oct 1 so I won't be able to go regardless of details. I just think it would be cool to get a preview of the grounds and some nice fee publicity for the new locale

    Would definitely be an ideal spot. I'm hopeful that even if it doesn't happen this year then that might be a future locale for a Zwanze Day event one year. Dreaming about a Jester King style Zwanze event where there's a huge bottle share out at a farmhouse brewery in the middle of nowhere with Cantillon on site!

    The new farmhouse location would be awesome for this, but I'm not sure if they could sell/pour out there. It's in a dry county.
