No, that's a beer gourmand. The beer snob will wonder where all the rest of the tiny short pours are, as well as the paddle.

This is hilarious! Can't tell you how many times I've heard this. That's an awful tap btw, standard Chili's, Applebees, etc tap.

I use "Sam Adams glass" a lot, but only because I assumed people realize I'm referring to their proprietary Perfect Pint glass.

To the breweries that won't date stamp their bottling or cans I won't buy you unless your local and I know its fresh. Surprise, the better locals here all date their cans. I will not be hoodwinked or bamboozled.

I've had that happen, you just have to use the right kind of towel or dry it a certain way.

Fair enough. I always give my glasses a quick rinse before I pour beer in them, anyway.

Put simply, I like to pour my beer into glasses that are completely untainted by scratches or marks, residual water, water stains, micro fibers, towel fuzz, etc.... And I have my own special way of cleaning glasses which accomplishes this in a way that suits me. I guess I'm just OCD lol

The extremely small writing on the back label which talks about the ideas, ingredients, collabs, whatnot. Just make it shorter with nice big letters.

    Pumpkin sours

Beers coming only in Bomber or 6-pack, why not a single 12 oz bottle just in case you don't like it? Luckily there's one liquor I go to that allows buying single bottles out of sixers

The food at those chain restaurants is dumbed down for people with no taste, so why shouldn't the beer be too?

I keep a random beer glass on the counter for days at a time. Rinse before and after using.

Well here a pint is 16oz and your Imperial pints are 20oz.
So you're getting hosed if you're getting 16oz pints in B.C. I'd be peeved too.

As a bottle cap collector, breweries that use the same cap across their entire range. Fair enough if you're a super small scale operation just starting out and need to keep costs as low as possible, but the ones putting out big volume - make an effort. Even if it's just a different colour like Brooklyn, BrewDog, Anchor, ect do.

Lately I've been noticing some beer labels not listing the abv. That is a bit annoying to me, even if it doesn't really matter and I can look it up online.

Agreed. I stopped going to a place that would not post size or price on their board. When asked they got snippy about it. I then asked what came in a pint glass( they use cheater pints) and was told IPA, local offerings and low ABV. I ordered a GF west coast IPA and it came in a 10oz tulip style. I have not been back after going weekly for around 10 years. The food used to be great and the beer was always good and well priced but they seem to have changed that model. Its a local place and I always felt uninvited. Lots of Pet P here for me.

    Enjoy

A lint free or linen one works well. I rinse and drain dry, then put away. Then I will rinse with water and dry just before use, no soap either,
