no old school releases, but plenty of stuff popping out of the taproom before years end. Just watch social media and you will be informed.

 

Extravaganza has been moved to January 6 &7th 2017.

 

Any chance Black Maple and Champion Ground release this year overlap (that is, both available simultaneously)?

Saw the Jackie Os Twitter mentioning the Sept 30-Oct 2 weekend being a good time to visit. Hints of Black Maple? or Champion? or BB Barking?

 

I looked for some general info about the taproom and releases in this thread, but could not find any. Since I don't have social media (other than this), could someone PM me with details? I'm coming in from NY at the beginning of October. Any help or guidance would be appreciated (good beer bars, etc.). My only current plans for that weekend are Buckeyes football, here, and Hoof in Columbus or Marengo if there's a release. Thanks.

Mandala Simcoe canned today

 

I had a BBBM just last week and mine was fine.

 

Got concerned with the recent reports so I opened my last one. Happy to say this one ain't bad.

 

All this talk about infected/soured barrel aged beers and every single one of you has only yourself to blame. Barrel aged beers aren't meant for aging, especially beers with coffee or vanilla or other add-ins, doing so should only be done at your own peril. As far as I'm concerned every single person complaining about a fucked up bottle of BCBS, Jackie O's or whatever else has gotten exactly what they were asking for.

I must say, however, I'm glad to see no one here really seems to be blaming Jackie O's outright, but I hope some of you can use this as a learning experience.
