well, I'm a bit disappointed. Yeah, consistency would be appreciated as I'll be out of town that weekend. First liberation I'll be missing in general, but the insult to injury is that I won't even be able to get the bottles since the narrow pick up window. Man, that's no fun.

 

clearly do not understand how much we people in Los Angeles enjoy lines.

12pm release in LA? 300 people by 10am easy. You guys had hundreds waiting in like at Buellton.

 

Guess they are trying to treat this one like an event instead of the normal release. Wish they'd hold longer but I guess they want people to make the effort to come during the event.

 

I guess the one plus about Venice is bottle shares are pretty common on the sidewalks there already

 

Who's down for the malt liquor bottle share? I will bring the thunderbird vert... anyone got a MD 20/20 vert to bring?

 

Don't remember recalling, but does anyone remember why Parabajava was re-released to Venice this year?

Any chances of being re-released again?

They had more in off-site storage that they continued to move to all of the locations after release day. Doesn't sound like this is going to be the case again.

 

Don't be surprised if they do.

 

The fact was simply this - they never had a black friday release in the past blow up to that level. Even when they released PNC to Barrelworks years before. Parabajava just was a complete surprise and they were not expecting to need that much inventory at BW and thus, could stagger it in past releases of the Black Friday beer release.

That's why they still had a lot of inventory even though on that day they sold out fast of what was on hand..

Picked up my Huck Yeahs today. Cheers to whoever recommended Industrial Eats (think I've seen it recommended multiple times) that place is amazing. I wanted to eat every single thing on the menu Definitely going back there. I never realized there was more to Buellton then a gas station off the 101

By the way 2016 Helldorado is tasting incredible

 

I still haven't seen helldorado up in Santa Rosa. Unless I missed it.
