There were 3 left in Long Lake before I took 2. I left 1 to share the love.

shocked how much of this is still around. Although I didn't think it was great so maybe that's why.

Schell's tweeted that they were bottling a Noble Star today. It is called Galactic Collision. Anybody know exactly what they did for this one? Is it fruited? Dry hopped? I couldn't find a description for it anywhere.

I don't remember exactly. Had it at All Pints North, and it was fantastic.

I spent a lot of time at the Schells boot at ABR, the sours I have written down are Tidal Disruption, Harmony of Spheres, Orbital Drift, Apricot Vista. Did I miss this one or are you mistaken?
I can't imagine I missed it on one of my 4 stops there.

Looking up the label on the government website it shows it is a Berlin-Style Weisse Beer, Wheat Ale.
    It doesn't mention any fruit.

He mentioned APN. So perhaps they brought it there? You are correct that they didn't have it at ABR.

I'm pretty sure that description applies every beer in the Noble Star series.

I'm wondering what makes this any different than SoTN. Got a reply on twitter saying the following:

"Its brewed at the brewery and goes into the cypress tanks for 6-24 months. We also age some on fruit for an additional 4 months!"

So is this one just sitting in the Foeders longer than usual? or is that the usual amount of time they sit? I'm still unsure.

He's "happy to share but please don't copy the images without permission" he gets from the publicly accessible, taxpayer-funded government website...

That reads like there is both a standard (extra-long aged) version and a fruit-aged variation.

Maybe @unterhopft could shed some light on this.

Apparently, a common marketing term, according to the
    THE SCARCLIFF DICTIONARY OF BRANDING*:

    * I mean, c'mon, who doesn't have a dogeared paperback copy of Scarcliff in the back pocket of their overalls?

We didn't bring Galactic Collision to ABR, but we did bottle it this week. This one is quite a bit different than Star of the North. It's very much a traditional Berliner Weisse, but this one was aged a full year, is bone dry with an almost cider like aroma, a little more acidic, and a slight tannic finish. We experimented with a non-saccromyces wild yeast in fermentation along with our Brett C strain, and two strains of lacto. It was a little young yet at APN, and I think the extra few months really helped.
