    Anybody planning on going to Common Table for this on Tuesday?

    There is an in depth description of the beer on their blog from the head brewer. It sounds promising:
    9.5% ABV | 25 IBUs
    Barrel Aged Belgian Golden Strong Ale w/ Muscat Grape Juice

    Can't make it unfortunately. Scott sounded very excited for this during the Saturday Tour. Hopefully we get a few more kegs sent out in the coming weeks.

    I had it at MvsC on Tuesday. And I've seen reports that Down House and Saucer have it on now.

    It's a good effort, but nothing special. Didn't catch any of the "barrel character" noted in the one and only review. Good strong golden ale although not outstanding. Fwiw IMHO etc

    It had tons of barrel character. Was just wine and not bourbon.

    This might be the best beer I've had made in Texas. It's definitely up there!

    Banger's has this in Austin... the first time I'd seen it on tap locally. I had it last night while waiting for the New Belgium Rare Tasting to start.

    Dare I say this is the best Texas beer I've ever had? It's at least near the top.

    Bring on bottles!

    Indeed, Had it at MVC in Houston a couple weeks ago. Very good complex beer.
