I personally loved b2 also. i am a fan of slightly undercarb'd beer.

So good, the nose on it is crazy. The Red is also very good, but I was lucky enough to snag the last B3 for onsite. Holy shit, I wish I'd gotten bottles of that.

BTW, I love the new release process. Great to be in a small group, talk to more people and the tour guide (John I think).

Apricot CFP was delicious, very juicy. The Red & Balaton Cuts both are out of this world too, this time of year when all the fruit beers are coming ready is awesome.

I really liked the apricot CFP but thought the apricot fruit stand last year packed more of a punch. We'll see what age does to get the CFP funked up though. Also, and I may be in the minority here, but The Red was highly disappointing to me.

Hey Casey lovers (and if you aren't... why not?),

Just noticed that Casey tour/tasting tickets for GABF week are now available. Just got mine for Wednesday 10/5 2pm. See you there!

After this weekend, I'm hoping they're able to bottle some more of Eric's blends. He has a knack for it.

Yes he does! I'm assuming you're talking about the Apricot DH? I got to try it a couple weeks ago when I volunteered to help cut fruit and in a day that included SP Leaner, Balaton b3, The Red, and Apricot CFP it might have been my favorite beer.

If it's anywhere near as good as the first Leaner, you should be very excited.

Did they say if it was made the same as casey/sp leaner? or is this one just casey cultures?

    It has both cultures again.

Wasn't it mentioned on social media that it would probably be a stretch to expect it to be ready for GABF week? I wouldn't be surprised if the second or third week of October was spot-on.

Also holding my breath for Leaner availability the weekend of the 21st. I expect that since there are so few tours during those middle weeks in October that if it's not released in time for GABF (which wouldn't be surprising as pmoney said), then it may end up lasting on the to-go list for quite some time.

Leaner was bottled about a week ago, a three week bottle conditioning period does seem like a quick turnaround, at least for what I've experienced with Casey bottles in the past. Although some bottles have conditioned (and were sold) that quickly all thanks to this year's hot summer which sped things up. Temperatures have dropped considerably since then though. And then there's always the possibility of a diacetyl breakout that would require an even longer conditioning period.

At this point it's a wild-ass-guess as to when Leaner "drops"
