Know if they're selling bottles of it? Their FB page says they'll be serving it but didn't see anything about it being for sale. I know it's supposed to see limited distro to select liquor stores, not sure about pub sales though. Hoping I can track down a bottle somehow.

No bottle sales at the pubs or brewery, only at select liquor stores and Bendistillery Tasting Room in Bend.

Great thread folks! Wondering if anyone in Portland has seen any rarer HOTD bottles on the shelf out there (anything from the wood, Doggie Claws) for take home? I'll be in Portland for the next day and a half and HOTD is one of my all time favorite breweries. Also, if anyone's looking to dump a 12 bottle, 750 box or two, I'm your guy . Maybe a PM is more efficient and less distracting of the thread.

They may still have bottle of Otto available at the brewery. Saraveza sometimes has a few rarities in their vintage cooler... And if you're willing to take a second mortgage on your house, you can find just about anything - other than Dave, of course - at APEX.

Was at John's Market yesterday and they had a few bottles of 2012 Doggie Claws out. They've been sporadically putting out vintage bottles from their stash - mostly Deschutes stuff but other interesting bottles show up now and again.

How dog friendly are the breweries/brew pubs in PDX? Will be visiting from Seattle for the FH Fest next Saturday.

With Seattle getting their fall update a few thoughts for Portland's fall update.

Will Ancestry Brewing count as a new brewery even though their brewing operation is in Tualatin but have a taproom in Sellwood? What about Double Mountain?

Also: Mt. Tabor, Wayfinder, and Rosenstadt have opened up.

And should add Biketown as a form of public transportation,

Noted. I think Ancestry can be included since their pub is in Portland proper. Same with DM.

As usual, I'm late with the update, but I'll try to get it done by the weekend. Thinking I might just do a fall/winter update so I can continue to be lazy and not update until spring 2017. Plus, the winter months traditionally seem to slow down a bit. Also thinking I'll go ahead an move Great Notion to the (Almost) Universally Recommended category, as it seems to have earned that designation already.

    A couple other thoughts:
    • Add the Biketown link in the transportation section
    • Add Arch Bridge to the recommended beer bars/bottle shops section
    • Maybe mention that Ruse Brewing shares a space with Culmination and is putting out solid beer
Thanks again for maintaining/updating these threads!
