My best friend works at lizardville. Everytime we get together I know he is gonna rant about 3 floyds for 15 minutes. How someone came in asking if they had any and he says no but check out these other examples of the style and the person says naw and walks out he gets so annoyed.

Three floyds was amazing in 2010. But everyone seems to have caught up. That trend will just continue with all the new breweries popping up which is great for the consumer.

I do this on purpose. That way, when they say they don't have any it gives me an out from buying anything. And I leave.

I pass on zombie dust anymore. Not because I don't like it. It's an amazing beer and I actually love it. But I've had it plenty and in my mind the guy driving around town in search of it can have the bottle I would have bought rather than me lucking into it having no searched it out. I'll grab the head hunter or mystic mama and be just fine.

Noticed they had some Uncle Rusty at 2+ years... soon on that one, I suppose.

On a side note. Citrus Blast Bodhi was amazing....

The Sunday mole stout is pretty awsome. I like it a lot I mean it taste very similar to the regular stuff.

I drank a Colombia festbier or whatever it's called and it caught me off guard how good it was I really liked it a lot.

Also did anyone try the fatheads Jameson thing? I loved it and thought it was awsome.

Had a fairly fresh Land Grant Glory last night as well as a CBC Festbier. Both were good. The Glory was better than the last time I had it. More Citra than I remember it having previously.

Platform Peach Spreader is a perfect fall berliner. Recommended.

The rain delay at the OSU game was the first time I had a Glory, paid some absurd amount for a single can but it hit the freaking spot.

Outside of Glory I haven't been overly impressed with Land-Grant offerings. I tried their new DIPA Neutron over the weekend, and it was a very pleasant surprise. Cans are hitting around town today.

Central OH folks; do yourself a favor and go get a growler of 3MCs at Homestead. This stuff is amazing and flying under the radar

Having a Sunday Mole Stout now, and have to agree, it's very similar to the original, as in it's very coffee forward, and very light on the chili peppers, but has less body and complexity. The most recent SMS was one of the biggest beneficiaries of barrel treatment I've seen in a stout in a while, and to name Mole pretty much the same, but subtract the barrel part is a bit odd. This is thinner, has no head and little carbonation. Still loving the ridiculous amount of coffee though.

YES! 1 of the the few benefits of moving from Columbus to Newark is closer Homestead access! They just did a smoked wee heavy ale that was hitting the spot on a breezier day. Can't think of too many smoked/wee heavy hybrids out there outside of Millersburg Doc's Scotch but I like em!

Yep! I went there with two growlers thinking 3MCs and a lower ABV option but had to go with the Smokum for the 2nd one. I love smoked beers and I love Scotch ales so it was a no brainer. Looking forward to crack that one tomorrow.
