Just went thru. Lines are pretty long now but still plenty of R&D as far as I can tell. Most people aren't buying it, just getting tickets.

La Fortuna sold out and packed up. I'm devastated.

    My condolences.

Wasn't able to go but a buddy shared a bottle with me, amazing beer!

So... anyone else hit Oktoberfest in town? Holy shit what a party.

We ended up coming back half way and hiking at Rock Cut.

Just saw a release list at the Piggly Wiggly in Monroe. For the rest of the year it looks like this:

Oktoberfest until the end of Oct
Uff Da until the end of Nov
Fat Squirrel releases mid October through the end of the year (and likely through winter)

Smoke on the Porter until end of Oct

And most interesting the thumbprint for Nov and Dec is listed as Spotted Cow Grand Cru. Wonder what that will be like..

Does anyone know if they sold out yesterday or if they would sell it today if they didn't sell out?

Your best and quickest bet is to call them and ask.

They probably won't sell today. Last year's leftovers were saved for special tours/events or sold for a larger price tag almost a year later.

Really good release Saturday up there. Walked in around 10am and got my beer. Then proceeded to hang out, sample some good beers with various bottle shares going on. If only every release was this smooth. Looking forward to making the trek up there again.

Not sure when you tried, but they are only open 12-5 on Sundays.

They did not sell out and have quite a bit left, however, it will not be for sale in the depot in the near future.

Just a random guess, I know nothing...

I've never actually had NG pick up when I called either. I'm guessing the times I called were also around R&D releases (and also might've been on Sundays) but it's a bit frustrating that they don't seem to have anyone manning the phones.

Messaged them on Facebook. Doesn't look like any bottles will be available in the depot.

They have the info up on their website. Going to be a Thumbprint for November-December.

    Here's the description:

"This boss Cow rules with 8.5% ABV and an Original Gravity of 18 degrees Plato. Fine Wisconsin and Czech malts step out with hand chosen Willamette and Yakima Valley hops joined up with French and German varieties. Fresh coriander and sweet orange peel kick up Dan’s special Farmhouse Ale. Bottle fermented and hazy as an early meadow morning, expect Spotted Cow Grand Cru to be an assertively quaffable Imperial edition of Wisconsin’s favorite local brew."

Finally, a Thumbprint that has me interested. I don't think I've picked up any of the series since the last time NG released their Berliner.

You passed on Oud Bruin and Cran-bic?

I didn't give this years Oud Bruin a chance because I was turned off by the wet cardboard taste in the previous years version. Probably should have given it a try. Cran-bic I passed on because I have a terrible allergic reaction to the large format fruited New Glarus beers. Didn't want to chance it. Looking back I see it's brewing process is nothing like those. I'll give it a try as there are still 4 packs floating around the northwoods, up here.

Huge regret on only getting 1 4 pack of Cran-bic, when I was up there.Delicious.
