They have limited space there, goal is to sell as much beer as soon as possible and free up the space so they can resume normal business on Monday.

I had DDHDMD on tap yesterday at brewery, it was really good. Had it in can today, it was fantastic.

I don't understand why people are still complaining about limits being too high when you can still walk in 2 hours after open and get anything you want. Sure, I guess if you can't get there until much later in the day, that sucks, but this is still an infinitely better situation than it was several months ago when you would get shut out if you didn't line up by 9am (or earlier!).

And you know a week ahead of time what the beers are and that release are every other Saturday for 2 years now. I really wanted to pick up mosaic dream but went to Kane anniversary as it's ten minutes away. Overdue for an OH run. $30 in bridge tolls is never enjoyable.

The $30 sucks but I'm already overpaying for great beer, so oh well. I can handle it once a mont or so.

Have to agree. I show up around noon, no line and still get all beers. Things are working just fine.

On a separate note I was just at Bon appetite Chicago and there was not a single brewery present. All wineries and food vendors. I can't help but think that's so fucked up.

    Not a single beer vendor.

I felt the same way about the 1 can I've had so far but it's early to write off a TIPA

Um, the last thing I want to read is how Double Dry Hopped Double Mosaic Dream "pairs well with the chicken."

I heard that they dialed this batch down a bit, presumably to make it more palatable to all the people who passed on it in favor of the newer, shinier beers.

I loved the first can of simcoe/wai-iti i cracked last night. Liquid Canteloupe.

I need to start eating more fruit. I forgot what cantaloupe tastes like

Why would dialing the batch down make it more palatable? I'm sorry, I think I'm misunderstanding

Friend of mine grabbed the last two four packs of DDHDMD and did have a bag of beer with him - but it was beer from the last OH can sale. I wasn't able to make it to that one so
he had picked up some cans for me and brought them on Saturday. I can't speak for anyone else, but rest assured not everyone you saw was double dipping.

Does DDH DMD taste as good on draft as cans?

Simcoe+Waiti is interesting and @afroskully is right, LOTS of melon which isn't usually my cup of tea but I'm digging this beer.

Tropical fruit and citrus flavors are what usually gets everyone's attention but this is a damn good IPA. I wish we saw more IPAs with this flavor profile in lieu of fruit added to hops IMHO.

I'm not sure if I've ever tasted melon before in an IPA, but after seeing it noted here, I got loads of it off the Simcoe+Wai-ti. Also tasted much more delicate/soft than the typical OH ipa.

@taestee I haven't tried this most recent batch yet but Lambo Door is a melon bomb.
