Already contacted the brewery, but if yer sitting on a Cognac Noir (Jan '15) it might be real bretty. If you like sour stouts it's not awful yet but don't sit on em any longer. Also; original Barrel Noir from '12 is falling off and should be consumed now.
I have one that's been sitting in the fridge since I got it. I'll crack it this week and report back.
Thanks...I'm assuming since the run was small that most are from the same batch if not all. Already warned my local buddies about the issue.
No response yet...Deschutes was stellar in their response to the Murder in the Rye infection but Alamanac doesn't seem concerned.
are you in Sour and Barrel aged enthusiasts on facebook? I believe some high ups at almanac post in that group and if you posted a topic in there you could get direct responses pretty quickly.
