Oh yeah, grabbed 3 Amalgamator, still is one of my all time favorites from BW. Except for Pride of cHops. That was TITS. cant wait to see that again.

anyone going to the lunch portion on sat for zwanze? Wanted to do brunch but can't make the event until lunch time.

 

I'll be in the "later" session. I did the same last year and was very happy with how it was run. Very comfortable. Food was pretty "meh" but I enjoyed myself anyway.

Edit: If I recall correctly, once the session ended they cleared out the bar and rearranged some things before reopening to the public. At that time, any leftovers were available for purchase. I believe it was tasters only, but that was a nice bonus too for those who were in session 2 and didn't have plans afterwards.

 

I'm going to the first session and haven't done zwanze at beachwood before. How early does one need to arrive to grab a t-shirt? Also, surprised no update on the food offerings unless I missed that? And how's the general event go? Are you sat down and they bring each offering out one by one while you go grab food by table or something along those lines?

 

Think you'll be fine to get a shirt if you want one.

Way it worked last year is that once you got in and sat yourself, you'd get tickets for a sample of each beer. Food was buffet style at the end of the room; serve yourself. For beers you would give tickets to the waitstaff and they bring you each pour. Gratuity is included, but you may want to bring cash to tip extra at the end.

 

yep that's what they did for session 2. I enjoyed the food for brunch last year, wasn't amazing but it hit the spot.

 

My wife and I will be at Session 2 tomorrow - pretty excited about it, can't even remember the last time I drank Cantillon...can't get it anywhere these days. Also, if the shirt is the same bright neon pink one shown on the Cantillon facebook page right now, the demand may not be as high as we might think.

 

I really pushed for the pure pink shirts but alas we went for black with the pink logo.

 

Made it out to Zwanze @ SB yesterday which without a doubt was awesome. Food was great, beers were amazing, staff was excellent (all per the usual at SB in my experience). Hope to get lucky on BPT again for next year, great party.

 

Hope to get lucky for a third year in a row and attend in 2017. Love the way it's handled at SB.
