Cleaning up the car I got for my oldest yesterday. $8k for a top saftey pick with 47k miles that gets 37 mpg isn't too bad of a deal. More money for beer

Having a great afternoon after an awful day at work. Trashy customer threw some wiper blades at me and screamed at me for not getting his new wiper blades on faster (I work at an auto parts store). Thing is, it took 90 seconds. I really deal with the scum of the earth. Almost walked out on the job, just decided to take an hour lunch instead and went home early. I'm done for the weekend, and heading off to Chi-town for training at another job...for crying out loud I should just quit this one.




Snapshot is one of my favorite wheats, and I have 32 more of them.

 

Good Day fellow beer nuts- Well, I tried a Shock Top Pretzel what have u, earlier, just cause...
It smelled like pretzels. I like pretzels, and I like beer, stands to reason I'd like the beer. It was kind of flat and two note. Like taking a swig of an amber and then eating a pretzel. Oh well..... First time trying Sapporo, here. I think it beats the usual BMC lot over the head, but, if I want a fizzy yellow beer, may as well reach for an Urquell. Glad i tried it, it's now checked off my list. Cheers!

I love Shock Top's Pretzel Wheat. I don't discriminate, I've had tons of beers, but I'm not ashamed to admit I think it's a solid beer. I'm sorry your experience was not a good one.

Really (seemingly) loooooong day at work. Sometimes working with the public is fine, other times it's as if they're auditioning for the role of person most unlikely to be missed if made a human sacrifice. There was a lot of the latter today.

Fortunately, I have beer, including this VA IPA, courtesy of @gopens44.

 

It wasn't horrible or anything, I love pretzels so I'm glad I tried it. I think it smelled like a big pretzel, but it was a bit flat in the flavor area, for me. Cheers!

 

On call the next four days, so Mrs Wiens and I will be dining out tonight.


Forgot that Mrs Wiens was in the background comforting one of the dogs!

This was super delicious. So glad they are canning this now.

 

Back at the hotel after a day of exploring the White River National Forest and photographing the Maroon Bells. I picked up a six of SN Octoberfest at a local store for the bargain price of $9.99 on the way back. Beer selection here sucks as it's a wine and spirit$ town. These are going down fast after a very active day!
