Anyone have some actual info regarding the time of release and distro? This sounds amazing.

There's also now a maple syrup bourbon barrel Even More Jesus coming. Release should be 3-4 months from now.

Eh they have to do the same in CT and the four packs are13.99 here. The bombers were expensive because of the volume they were brewing it at, which they were most likely able to increase when they switched to brewing them at two roads.

Was just going to say they do that in Iowa as well.....you can get the 4-pack cans for around $13.99....The three tier system is the main reason I cant get my beloved Kirkland Premium Vodka from Costco. They may just think its dumb to have to distro their own brand.....ahaha

Truth. ET gets sent through like 5 different distributors before it even hits the shelf in MI. For a split second I was able to get ET at regular price from a distro who was getting directly from 12%, but then there was a territory dispute between distro's and magically the price doubled. For reference, Liquid Double Fudge was $8.99 a bomber, until the bigger distro got involved, cut off ordering from the other distributor, then the price went from retail $8.99 to $17.99. It's a f'n joke. The middlemen are making all the money and artificially inflating prices for no reason whatsoever. I actually refuse to buy ET stuff from my distributor now because I know what the real cost is compared to what they want to charge. I met with the one of the co-owners of the distributor last week for unrelated reasons and brought up this huge price discrepancy and he shrugged and had nothing to say. I was getting Imperial Biscotti for around $14.99/bomber and when everything went down the price through the other distro came out to be $24.99/bomber. It's BS. I have to apologize to customers constantly because I can't carry ET because at those prices they just sit on the shelf and collect dust. No one should be stupid enough to spend $25 on Biscotti (its a great beer! but not for that price, which is forced upon us by the distributor). Even stuff like Molotov 4pks were hitting near $22. It's ridiculous.

EDIT: also BLIS BBA maple syrup is a totally different company than ET or DH. BLIS uses ex-KBS brls to age their syrup. I have no idea how Dark Horse was involved in this, but BLIS syrup, while amazing, is not either brewery

    Try the Bliss hot sauce

    https://blisgourmet.com/products/blis-blast-hot-pepper-sauce

BLiS Blast Hot Pepper Sauce is our secret blend of chipotle, arbol and cayenne chilies aged for up to a year in seasoned oak barrels that once held Kentucky bourbon, BLiS maple syrup and Founder’s Kentucky Breakfast Stout. The result is a complex hot pepper sauce with a kick of chilis combined with hints of chocolate, maple, hops, garlic, vanilla, wood and spice in one giant blast of umami.

Oh man, I've probably gone through 50 bottles of the Blast in just the last 6 months. I sell almost all of the BLiS products at my shop. His Blast, BBA Syrup and BBA Soy Sauce are some of the best sauces I've ever tasted. If you like Soy Sauce at all, or even his Fish Sauce, they will blow you away. Sorry to hijack the thread! :flushed:

Founders actually did a BLiS hot sauce barrel aged version of All Day IPA last summer, it wasn't amazing, but I give them props for trying something different than just brewing a pepper IPA

Those sauces sound great, but man, that sauce aged all day IPA was way far from amazing, it was dreadful.

LOL. I was trying to be nice, but yeah, it sucked hard. I hate ADIPA as it is, that made a bad beer worse, so, so much worse.

That soy sauce sounds like it'd be fire!

I've gone through a few bottles of the maple syrup and it's pretty great. And i'd assume these maple barrels are the same that Founders has been using (aka CBS, Project Pam, Sweet Repute, etc) so I'm sure the Michigan Maple Jesus is amazing as well.
