I did mine yesterday. Wasn't on the fence so much as worried about cost, but I split it with a local who's eager to take a bite out of allocations, so I'm good to go. And be broke.

Did everyone see the Black Tuesday Release Party details? I'm sad that I'll be missing this one.

Edit: Pretty significant jump in price from last year but I guess that's why they've made everything unlimited rather than only giving a certain number of pours. Didn't notice the price hike when I first read it.

    TUESDAY, OCTOBER 25
The Black Tuesday Release Party will be held on Black Tuesday (October 25) over two sessions at our barrel warehouse.

    Session one:
    4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

    Session two:
    8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

    TICKET SALES
Tickets go on sale to Reserve Society members on Tuesday, October 4. There is a two ticket limit per member.

    TICKETS
This year's Black Tuesday Release Party is as grand as the beer itself. Tickets ($79.99, member discount already reflected) include:

Unlimited 1.5-oz. samples of approximately 25 rare, limited and one-time Black Tuesdaytreatments and variants

Unlimited 3-oz. pours of party-premiering hoppy / juicy beers from The Bruery and/or other more sessionable beers

Unlimited pairings and gourmet treats from URGE Gastropub

    MOSTRA Coffee

    Specialty Black Tuesday Spiegelau glassware

Access to new, limited edition merchandise

    A live, 1920s-style jazz ensemble

2.5hrs for unlimited 1.5oz pours could spell disaster for that hour+ car ride home.

Are you implying that you would drive home after a Black Tuesday release party? I wouldn't even consider it, that would be a cab and hotel kind of night for me if I lived an hour away.

Two hours of beers that usually run $20+ a bottle, and a slew not even bottled and likely not to be, plus food to go with it and coffee to perk up, I'd say $80 is a deal.

Oh good lord no, I have always brought a DD to these events or else when the DD wanted to consume we took the train instead (like for the anniversary party). Just being in a car for 1.5hours to get back to san diego with that much BT in your system......ugh.....

Right? They seem to be doing more hoppy beers all the time. I would love to see their take on a Northeast style IPA...

The emails went to those who had yet to renew. We made sure to put the content on Facebook and Instagram too ;-)

    Where is the Barrel Warehouse?

Is this in the same complex as the Fulfillment Center and "The Bruery" tasting room?

There have been unlimited pours for years prior. In fact, one year we even got a bottle included in the price (although there were no unlimited that year). Also, there is no way to get through 25 pours of BT in 2 hours and really care about them, this seems like just a big waste of money.

I wouldn't call it an NE IPA, but the "bicoastal pale ale" (Kite Weather) they have on is really tasty.

I got a reminder email and I have renewed? Even looked up and saved out the invoice PDF to keep proof on hand, just in case!

Although I am not doing a side-by-side, I'd say it tastes a lot like 2015 if that helps.
