Think I can be there by 1:30 so anybody willing just keep us stragglers posted if it runs out anytime soon.

Line was handled so much better this time around and was nice for a surprise tapping (even though I was a little salty being overlooked like 10 times at the front of the bar and by the time I was served, Gimme Samoaloha tapped out after some dude that just walked up got served). It was kind of sketchy though seeing single people walk out with cases of Juicy.

So they just went back in line 3-4 times? Wonderful for me. Was planning on showing up in the next 15 min.

Yep. I'm sitting here having a draft after missing out on cans and people have cases at their table.

Agreed. While waiting in line outside, saw a handful of people with at least 3 allotments before I got mine.

Laughing my ass off. Why even set a limit? Went on Instagram to search for something else and first thing that pops up are people posting pictures of cases lol.

The suburbs are starving for a beer scene... today is proof.

Got there at 10:00 - got an allotment of juicy, a pour of juicy, and a pour of Somaloha.

Shaun_the_brewer has a good thing going

Limit of 8. Unless you want 24. Or 48.

Does RAM realize they are sitting on a golden goose? They need to roll this out to their other 10 locales before they lose the brewer to a non-chain.

Nobody will want to drink the beer anymore if it's readily available, haven't you read this site before?

I got in and out at 11:45 with no issue, which was nice with having two kids under 7 with me. Don't get the double and triple dippers. If you're setting a limit, they should do something like stamping hands so more people can get their product. Just my opinion.

From someone unfamiliar with Ram, which location does these releases?

This is it exactly. I really thought it would last a lot longer and was lucky to show up at 11:45 and basically jump in line right at the door. I had two kids with me so planned on staying for lunch but there was no way that would work, the place was a zoo. People were clearly double/triple/quadruple dipping but I think that makes fine business sense for the ram and the limit at least let guys like me walk right in after the line was gone and still grab some. If they scanned IDs it would have made it available for longer and to more people but I'm torn if that's better for the Ram or if that's just a huge hassle at some point.

I can see why people starved for a beer scene lined up for this now in the rain no less. Bottle share seemed reasonable, people camping out in the bar/restaurant after were having a ball. If I didn't have the kiddos I can see the appeal.

I cracked a can when I got home for lunch and it's good but definitely not worth the hype on its own. I think it's the full experience of hanging out with other beer nerds that is the real driving force behind this suburban chaos more than just the beer itself. Frankly I think Navaja, the Pipeworks fish beers, and several others are better, particularly for the price point, but it's obviously just my opinion.
