Anyone got a spare Zwanze ticket for Saturday? Just realized I'd be in town. Thanks.

Was told 4oz pours for Green bench. Something doesn't add up. Guess they told me wrong.

I just based my info off of the fact they will receive a sixtel of Zwanze (661oz) and there will be some loss + staff will likely get some pours.

Yeah I agree. Which is why I think they just threw out that number. 2.5oz is probably more likely.

I am super excited for tomorrow, my first Zwanze Day! I'll be at Playalinda.

Zwanze at Green Bench went really well. Some issues with lines at the start were fixed immediately. Really well done, best Zwanze day of the 4 or 5 I've attended.

Playalinda coming through with the bottles to go. Ended up with a Fou, LPF and LPG. Their glass was a standard Libby shape but they did pour at least 6oz per person. Really nice beer that was a really awesome finish to an outstanding day.

Huh?! Everyone got a Rosé de Gambrinus on the way out. It was the third tab on your wristband. I thought Green Bench did a nice job and those who wanted to share clearly could (and did).

Should have clarified. Ment a bottle list for sale. The other place had Fou and Lou Pepe to go. Other than that it was a great time! A bit hot but that's a FL issue lol

You were one of the lucky ones I guess in regards to the bottles. A lot of people disappointed after standing in line and then letting people rush to the bar to buy bottles.

Yeah. I was right up front (3rd in line) and I ended up with LPG instead of LPK because of the group of people who moved past the line. The bartenders just started grabbing bottles for people as they yelled out numbers from the bottle list. Wish they would have just stayed in the line that was established for the hours people waited but as soon as the doors opened the staff were all surprised that we were all waiting for bottles and one said "if you want bottles just go up to the bar and order them" which caused the mass rush. A simple "ok... stay in line if you want bottles, everyone else can go to the bar or take a seat for pours and food" and everyone would have been fine. Worst part is, I shared beers with the people further back in line (who brought nothing to share) and they end up being the ones who shit on the process. Fun times. Beer karma is real so I won't worry about it past this post.

This is spot on what happened. I was around 14th in line and when the employee said to go to the bar, everybody behind me went rushing past. I followed the people in front on me and luckily ended up behind the people I was behind in line. They recognized me and held a spot for me while they checked out and then let me up front. I ended up with 2 LPG and a Vig, not what I originally wanted or thought I would end up with based on my place in line, but I faired better than others in my group.

Playalinda's event went well, I was not there for the early bottle madness, still got some good stuff to go, Cantillon Gueze and Kriek, 3F Kriek. good handling of the scanning / Zwanze pours. a really nice relaxed atmosphere as well. This was my first Zwanze, and I will definitely do it again at Playalinda if that is a location for next year!

I also thought Playalinda put on a great event. I was not aware of the bottle/line issue but I wasn't there to buy bottles. The employees were doing their best to deal with the masses and I thought they did a great job while being very pleasant. It was awesome to be able to sit at the bar and order Cantillon after Cantillon just a short drive from my home.

Initial bottle rush aside, the event was awesome - Food was on point, pours were out quick, they had sufficient space when you consider the tents out back, the zwanze 3pm line went quick, the staff was all super nice/helpful. All in all, I'll be back to to Brix Project when I'm over that way.
