We sold 2pp when we received 2x the amount of cases as we do now.

As a frequent WF CC customer (both at the bar and buying take-away), @Abstractual does a tremendous job managing his crew. Considering how many people stop in to ask about Grimm, they are remarkably courteous. Whereas many other places are selling their Grimm allocations in 4-packs just to get them out the door and stop dealing with them, WF CC has made a continuous effort to try to get the beer in as many hands as possible. While that may annoy you if you're looking to score a few or more cans, I think it's a hardship the business is willingly taking on for the sake of its many customers. Commendable.

I just put Lambo Door on draft at The Sampler in Bushwick. Get it while you can.

I wonder how many of the people here complaining about WF CC have been there. Whenever I go all the employees are passionate about the beer, recommend new beers (space juice), and are always super friendly. Selling beers one at a time is a hassle for them but I respect it. One of the best taplists in the city (Mylar Bags, No Layups, Frou Frou, etc.), best prices on tap and on the beers.... and in a convenient and expensive location. Given it is basically a bar they could easily sell their cans much higher...I have never had anything but great experiences here...

I'd agree, and say the same goes for all locations, only once did someone at a WF location seem mildly annoyed about me asking for Grimm, and they had it too.

Tried both cans I had this past weekend. One of Lambo Door and one of Pulse Wave. Both were great but think Pulse Wave was better for me. Glad to have had both of these.

Also shared a bottle of Present Perfect with my wife last week. Man, this was great! I'm not a sour beer drinker but the fruit in this and just enough sour was a great balance. We both enjoyed it!

Drooling over Sumi Ink! Hope I can snag a bottle.

New store in Williamsburg and even distribution to all city stores as opposed to lopsided drops.

Glad to hear the experience at WFCC is a positive one. I've had such mixed results at WF Chelsea. Sometimes they are extremely nice, other times not. Think it depends on who is working. I forget what beer it was but I showed up for a single can release 15 minutes after it was posted and they were out. I asked her how many cases they got and rolled her eyes at me and said 2, but they sold 4 packs. Why?!

Just found 4 cans of Splish on the shelf at WF Chelea. Score.

I got the same eye roll from a lady at the cheese counter buying Grimm a while back! This too was back when they sold 4 packs.

Does anyone like Splish? Not really getting the typical Grimm raves from what I can tell.

I found Splish to be more balanced and less striking than most Grimm offerings. I think it's an easier one to finish than most of their others.

For example Lambo Door is fantastic but I think it loses some balance for that candied note comes across as big as it does.

@Grimm_Artisanal_Ales In this hop crazy world, I might be a minority. Would it be possible to list malt bill along with hops on your site or here. As a home brewer, I am really curious about malt bill of Splish and Afterimage.

Oh fun. I'm actually on the complete other side. Splish was pure sweet buttery butterscotch to me and hard to finish at a IIPA pace. But it's fun to see totally different reads on the same brew.

I definitely get the sweet notes you describe.

I think this is another one that (unfortunately) could restart the oats vs diacetyl argument.

wow just cracked a can of Pulse wave i picked up last Tuesday and it tastes completely skunked.. skunked might not be the correct term but it tastes horrible compared to the first can i had.
anyone have a similar experience at all with any Grimm cans?

I was underwhelmed by all 3 cans but by no means why the Pulse Wave I had skunked. Thats really interesting though since most skunking comes from light struck beers which is rarely seen in cans.
