Bruery 2016 RS/HS Allocations

Not going to lie, I'm a bit relieved! If they had a ton of beers allocated this month, there would have been no way I could afford all of them! I'll go easy on the SHIT and Oude Tart because those will go public... but definitely maxing on the Black Tuesday and Mash & Coconut! All for the low, low price of $220 (before taxes and society discount ;D)

Ughhhhhhh... where's that HS BT variant? Let me guess, its not ready.

 

I would expect any variant would be ready after the regular myself. I just assume there would additional time for conditioning.

I joined RS for 2017 and wondered if there is a complete list of quarterly shipments for 2016? Just curious what I am getting myself into. I may have overlooked it on this thread, but searching through 106 pages seemed a bit extreme. Thank You and Cheers!

Surprised Sour in the Rye with Kumquats wasn't in this month's. I know we keep saying this, but next couple months are going to be enormous considering what's still left...

RS and HS don't work on a quarter system. Each month new beers are available to buy, typically 3-5.

 

I just joined RS for 2017 - do I have to cancel my Preservation membership, or will they do that for me?

 

First post on this thread had been updated throughout the year to show what allocations and cellar sale bottles have been released so far.

 

I think you have to do that yourself since it is a recurring shipment and you can have multiple. You could see if @BruerJoel responds or just email [email protected] yourself.

That was a one off version. Who knows if they will ever do it again.

 

And on a side note, it kind of blows me away how many people drop money on a membership and really have no clue what they are getting in to. I wouldn't expect you to be a pro at it or anything but how do you not know the basics. They are guys are going to be in for a giant surprise when they are spending hundreds of dollars a month without realizing it.

 

What @Sumdeus said. The 10 included beers are released "as they're ready" with a welcoming package at the beginning of the year. 2016 RS members only received their welcoming package thus far, which contained 4 bottles. So they are still waiting on the last 5 bottles.

 

Probably not. It wasn't very good the first time once you look past the "ha ha you cant have this" handicap

 

Really? I thought BT Reserve was great

 

What?!?!?! You are literally the only person I know who has said that. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't like day and night from regular BT but it was a great beer for sure.
