The palest of pale ales. El Durado on the tongue, Amarillo on the nose.

Not my favorite combination of hops, but still an enjoyable beer. It gets significantly better after it warms up for a bit.

Going to stop in at Canton for my first time tomorrow around noon or earlier. General idea if there will be any line? Need to give myself enough time to get to my final destination 35 minutes away at 1. Looks like a nice selection should still be available tomorrow I'm hoping too.

Will be hitting up Trillium for the very first time on Wednesday, October 19th looking to buy some cans. I'll be heading south in the morning from Waterbury VT. Any thoughts on Canton or Boston locations for the best chance to find something? Was also thinking of hitting Tree House first before Trillium. Any advise for a visitor from the PNW would be most appreciated.

There will be more beer than you could want at both locations. Just check their site to see what they have. I would hit Trillium first to allow the initial rush to pass thru TH, but that depends on where you're ending up. I also personally prefer Canton over Boston because of parking and traffic. You can also get pours in Canton.

Thanks for responding! Our final destination for the day is just north of Portland, Maine to visit some friends. It looks like Trillium opens earlier but not sure of traffic issues doubling back and forth between the two.

If that is the case, I would definitely hit Treehouse at open, shoot over to Trillium Fort Point (stop into Fort Point Market next door for other local goodies) and then get on the road to Portland and hopefully beat traffic north out of Boston.

Great experience at Canton last week. Sampled a Plum Soak and snagged 6 cases of cans. They had just canned Mettle too so I was able to get 7 different beers (Congress, Ft Point, Galaxy Ft Point, DDH Sleeper, DDH Summer, Melcher, and Mettle).

I bow down to the great one. Trillium is crushing it.

I was marveling at it all the other day. Is there another brewery of this quality where you can walk out with such a huge variety and quantity of beer with minimal wait? And with awesome customer service and communication. It's unbelievable.

Not even close. At least for variety and quantity. Will be interesting when TH gets up and running. But for now, no

Canned DIPAs have all lasted 6+ days with the exception of the Cutting Tiles variants and Headroom. AND that was all before Trillium upped batch sizes to 90 bbl.

Only thing that might muck things up is if the Monkish collab release precedes your arrival. Even then I really doubt it. There's so much available right now.

I've never heard of Monkish until their name started getting thrown around on the Trillium thread. Is that bad?

A huge variety... of IPAs. That are all actually kind of the same.

Love Trillium but I would not consider variety a strength of theirs at the moment.

This is what I was thinking. I can tell there is excitement surrounding scaled up, but I figure it just has to make it through three days and Ill be there Friday to grab some. But as you say, there is so much right now that no matter what happens there will be plenty of beer on Friday.

So much has changed. Last year I visited NE in October and visited Trillium. They had just released Mosaic Fort Point, which was the only pale, IPA, or DIPA they had and I bought four bottles. This year I'll be able to stock up on a couple cases of cans. Wild.

...? Their taplist begs to differ. Just because people have bought up some of the variety doesn't mean they're a one trick pony.

    ON DRAFT:

    Cuvee De Tetreault Wild Ale
    Scaled IPA
    Mettle Double IPA
    Scaled Up Double IPA
    Double Dry Hopped Sleeper Street
    Galaxy Fort Point Pale Ale
    Night & Day Imperial Stout
Citra Free Rise Dry Hopped Saison
    Fort Point Pale Ale
    Congress Street IPA
    Itty Bitty Goose Pale Ale
Raspberry Soak American Sour Wheat Ale
