Turbid IPAs DMV

    Just had their HH 5 on tap at Victoria's. Mediocre at best, tasted like bubblegum.

    I get that bubblegum taste from 3 Stars IPAs too. What causes that off flavor?

    My guess would be fermentation temperature is too high. They probably have poor temperature control on their system.

    Currently has 4.26 out of 5 with 301 ratings on one of the other beer sites. Some people must actually be liking it.

    I did a flight at the brewery a while back and thought everything was decent to good. That was their first beer I seriously loved.

    I had a lot of hope for them originally cuz I originally really liked their Flagship IPA. Their grisette n hawkwind Porter were solid too. Their hopyard and citra splendor IPAs have all been way off to me. I will say that mosaic IPAs tend to give off a bit of a bubblegum taste to me but this was just too much bubblegum for me.
