Good to see one of the Wilfs chime in on BA.

Sir, I suppose you would feel the same way if some guy said the same thing of Minnesota and Wisconsin? We both know there is! Skol!

You do know it was all in fun, eh?...I'm just glad you didn't make it a MN/IA comparison:grinning:

It looks like the first 1500 attendees in line at Darkness Day this year will get Darkness wristbands allowing them to purchase 6 bottles. If the doors open at 11, what time would I want to be there to be in the first 1500?

    Also, Revocation is headlining! \m/

Look back a bit & you'll see the last people to get wristbands arrived around 9AM last year. It's varied by a couple of hours either way over the years.

I'd say if you want to be 100% safe, show up no later than 5AM based on Darkness Day's long & gloried history.

EDIT: the only way D-Day could be any better is to remove the headache-inducing "music" you have to suffer through to drink great beer! YMMV.

I can only speak from my experience last year. We got in line at around 11:00 PM Friday night and were in the 2:00 PM bottle group. There were people showing up at 4:00 AM and I know they got the full allotment. There were still people getting in line at 6:00 AM as well, but I'm not sure if they got the full allotment, maybe someone else can speak to that.

When you should arrive will come down to whether or not it rains. The lows are in the 50s, which is almost as warm as 2014. It is hard to gauge what the cutoff time was that year because so many people got cut out of the line.

Just wanted to point this out to all the douche bags that don't like to follow the rules and cut in line. I don't care if you have a buddy up front. Get your spot at the end of the line, then go hang out. When it's time for wristbands go back to your place in line. Thank you.... That is all..... enjoy Darkness Day

Apparently BBC codes don't work now? Here's the link.....see bottom right on "Don't be stupid"

For all the years I've gone I don't think I've ever missed anything on tap that I wanted to try. And I'm never in there right away fighting to get in line first. I'm usually in an hour after gates roughly to try all the taps. They have done time releases though.

Question for the bottle share in line...will anybody be popping an '07 and/or '08 Darkness? I've had both but would love to have the empty bottle if possible. If you can help hit me up and we can work smthg out. I will be bringing El Catador and Cycle bottles with me.

So I missed last year for the first time in a while for a wedding, but in 2014 it was a shit show trying to get in right away on Friday with a good 1 hour wait in the car line. How was it last year? When did they start letting people in? I've seen 3:30PM thrown out as a time, but that seems late compared to previous years.
Edit: Bringing an 8 pack of various Trillium IPAs and a few bottles that hopefully people want to try.
