Thank you lol. my store got 4 cases Tuesday and somehow in 3 hours they sold out. People must have known we were getting it. Its usually slow after labor day around here.

Hunterdon posted it on their weekly releases update this past weekend. Knowing how shoddy Jersey's craft allocations often are, I'm sure a lot of people check that and look to capitalize.

This beer flew off the shelves here last year - only got to try it on tap. Not gonna let that happen this year.

One of my local shops is limiting one bottle per customer lol.

This is ludicrous. The stuff should be on the shelves now, not to be used to fuel the hype machine for Black Friday. Hopefully Stone makes enough so this is easily obtainable. Beer geeks have become too accepting of having to wait in lines or ridiculous low limits. Hope this beer doesn't become part of that.

I think Stone put out multiple batches last year, and I venture to guess they will do the same this year.

Ok, love the beer, got my hands on last years and LOVED IT. Just had my first one of '16 now, and just as I remembered it. Not a noob, but can anyone tell me how to pronounce this properly? It landed on tap at one of my local pubs last year and all I could do was point..Educate me please?

I literally sound it out. I say X-Oh-Co-Veh-SAH. the veza part is the only part I really know how to pronounce

So looks like I'm not the only one who has pronunciation issues...

Grabbed a 6 in mid Michigan today 16.69. Along with a tangerine enjoy by. Same price.

Part that made my day was finding a different way to my store which avoided 2 crappy intersections.

Where do you live? It's been all over the place in western Camden County, and it is again this year. Stores put limits on it, but it's still usually readily available over/down here.

    Sho-Co-Vay-Za, per Stone website:
    http://www.stonebrewing.com/beer/st...-banker-stone-insurgente-xocoveza-mocha-stout

Though I was out with some Stone guys and they pronounced it Choco-veza (like chocolate-cerveza). I think the "Ex Oh" and "Zo Co" are pretty clearly off. Would be nice if they'd put it on the package!

Is Stone going to do another round of barrel aged Xoco's?

In other words, just keep they should just keep pointing at the tap handle. A couple beers in that's what we all do anyway, right?...right?

Well, we did end up getting more than last year.....2 cases at my store. Hoping we get more than that! We sold out super fast last time and it will probably be gone by tomorrow.

Bomber to six/four is very common these days. Started about two years ago and I hope it keeps going. Why do I want a bomber of 13% BA stout? Much rather the 12oz. That goes for all beers. The only beer that made this move and did not lower prices looks to be ST with Pumpking. I guess you do get 4 extra oz.

    Enjoy

I'm drinking this year's right now and maybe my memory is off but it seems like they turned the heat up just a little bit. Still great but I feel like they tweaked it a bit. Either way probably my favorite Stone beer, cheers!
