the group is really great. I have seen quite a few locals and others nearby doing the courtesy for others this year. Should have no problem finding someone when needed.

Once you join and are added to the Facebook group it becomes even easier to find help and answers for questions.

agreed! The fb group is great with a lot of people more than happy to help others when needed. Even the brewery is very active on there with responding to questions, feedback, etc.

New email went out a few minutes ago. Resolute Variant Set (2 bottles - 1 of each variant) as well as Double Barrel Resolute (1 bottle) is available for HS members to order on the site. Deadline to make your purchase is 10/31/2016.

*variant flavors/names have not been announced yet.

$50 seems very reasonable for 3 variant bottles. I am hoping we are able to purchase more than 1 Double Barrel Resolute. The variants being what sold me on the membership and the ability to buy multiples of last year's Apple Brandy Resolute had me thinking it would be the same way this year.

There's just two variant bottles in that set for $50. The DB is a separate item in the store for purchase. $75 for all 3.

Your math is a little off, each bottle is $25. DB is not part of the $50 resolute package.

Maybe I am mistaken but thought it read that way and when I clicked the link for the email only 1 Resolute Variant box was available to select. Wasn't trying to overload the site so I didn't go through with a purchase to actually confirm price and bottles.

My mistake, I now see the separate box for Double Barrel. Had lots of issues in the past with the site seeing all the information and actually receiving emails(which I still don't)

Yeah. The email was somewhat clear but with what we see in the store it could be very confusing and I bet someone does not order both. The DB is some random "Woo" icon so it could easily be overlooked when they see the other one say "Resolute Variant Package" Even the product description does not make note it is only 2 bottles.

I can't remember, were we able to buy multiples right away, or was it a limit of one to start and then opened up with no limit later? If all we get to buy is one bottle of DB, that's pretty disappointing. I'm over this club in general, definitely not renewing for next year.

I think we got 2 Apple Brandy's to begin with to purchase then it opened up to unlimited after everybody had a chance.

Yeah, that is a bummer but at least bottles are just for HS so it won't reach too far. I hope, however, that they end up opening up additional orders after the 31st once they know how much is left. I figured 1 barrel should yield about 214 bottles (750ml) taking into account a 20% loss. With no loss then it would be 267 bottles. Bros has mentioned membership this year is around 300 or so. I've got to believe they at least 2 barrels. Even if they keg some off there should be some extras out there for the taking.

They should have at least 2 barrels since its double barrel, right?

Would it then be quad barrel?

Doesn't double barrel mean they fill a bourbon barrel and fill a rum barrel (or whatever they happen to be) and then blend them together? That seems like it would make a lot more sense than sequentially filling 2 different barrels.

For 2016’s release we got our hands on some super fresh dumped Rye whiskey barrels to serve as the second home for Resolute that had already aged in Buffalo Trace barrels.

The way I take that is after they come out of the Buffalo Trace barrels then then aged it in Rye barrel, instead of blending 2 barrels.. I could be completely wrong though

Oh wow its a rye barrel? That's lame as shit, I thought it would be a totally different spirt. Its going to taste exactly like regular Resolute.

I have to say I strongly disagree with this statement. Rye barrels will impart a different flavor on the beer and add another layer of complexity.
