Lining up early in the summer was key to get into the shade of Centre Street, otherwise you were baked in the sun.

It felt like such a revelation when I got there earlier and avoided roasting. That sun was agony.

Echoing others, having 4 full case options definitely helps it last longer. I think the majority of people going to these releases are looking for 1-2 total cases of beer to make it worth their while. So with 2 cans, most everyone is maxing out. With 4 cans there is no need to max out. Sure some people "need" 8 cases of beer, and others are just there for a 4 pack of each. I plan on getting there after 10am and not maxing out on any of the 4 options, 2 cases total. Shouldn't be an issue.

Was going to say this. We showed up at 12:30pm last release. Waited in a line of maybe 8 people, and all beers were available. That said, we did get one of the last 3 cases of DDHDMD, so you might want to aim a little earlier than that, but before noon you should be totally fine.

Thanks for the awesome feedback guys. I guess I'll shoot for 11:30ish and hope for full allotments. You guys are great. Really appreciate it.

Random thought and maybe @Kanger can weigh in.

When the hell is OH going to make a single hop beer with Vic Secret? I can only assume it's a hop contract issue but it's definitely something I'd love to see in the near future.

Does anyone else think Pig beach should be canned? Overall, great tasting crushable ale. Amazing hazy white "pale" color.

Do you guys know if they accept Amex for can sales? I'm pretty sure I've bought cans with an Amex before, but I know they won't accept it in the tap room.

They technically accept Amex on their iPad POS devices but I've actually handed them my card before and they asked if I had anything else instead, citing "issues" with Amex in the past. Whether that's true, who knows. It's possible that they don't like Amex's higher fees. That said, I'm pretty sure if you told them you were going to bail on the $100+ sale, they'd probably take your Amex.

Any elite coffee shops and/or breakfast sandwich places within walking distance of Other Half? OP has a few places but not in these categories that I saw

Court Street Grocers makes an amazing brekkie sando. Great coffee as well.

On can release days there's Gaddy Lane. Most of their sandwiches are quite good. However if I'm gonna be in the area, I'm getting CSG's amazing breakfast sandwich as crowlcrowlcrowl said above.

I know I am old, still trying to grasp people calling sweatshirts "hoodies", but WTF is a brekkie sando?

I'm going to make an assumption and say that brekkie sando means breakfast sandwich......
