    Thanks for the heads up. I'm hoping it goes to a Western burb option today or tonight. Also want to get the BB Quad, but I'm gonna be driving through Wisconsin this weekend and assume I can find some there.

    Anyone know where Special Sauce can be purchased in Chicago? I heard Capone's has a nice Mikerphone collection and that's close to my place, so it would be ideal. Thanks!

    Also, looking forward to diving head first into GalaxyBowl when I get home. This cubs series has me so nervous, I want to go home and start drinking heavily :/

    There isn't any Special Sauce out there for sale right now. If it is, its a fluke. The next brew was just started.



    Capones will have it when it is available along with various other bottle shops. Your best bet is to check the Mikerphone thread to see where people have been picking it up. Pro-tip: It doesnt last long once its delivered.

    I just had a Nimbus with lunch. I thought it was just so-so. I think it was slightly more in the NE style than Stratus, but still not really in the same ballpark style-wise. I think I'd prefer Stratus of the two.

    I'm bailing on Nimbus, then. I figured Cumulus would be the best of the 3, but was still optimistic about Nimbus.

    Fine by me, I've purchased enough beer this week...

    Same here with buying enough beer this week! I almost bought a 2nd 4 pack of Nimbus to give one to my brother, but instead I'll just split the one 4 pack between us. My fridge looks so delicious right now...Galaxy Bowl, Navaja, Stratus, Nimbus and Lazer Snake. So many good options that even though I think Nimbus was decent, it just has a hard time standing up against some of the other beers I like more.

    So where has galaxy bowl been seen today? My Binnys kept saying today or tomorrow yesterday now they are saying next week...pretty sure I only saw about 15 places they distribute to on their website

    My fridge has 2 Dark Lord variants (no vanilla :slight_frown:), a bottle of Prop '14, a bottle of BCS '15, some other random crap, Galaxy Bowl and Enjoy By Tangerine. In other words, I hoard BA shit that I can never bring myself to drink, and the IPAs are constantly cycling through like cheap hookers. :stuck_out_tongue:
    Yeah, this one is pretty strange. Capone's, Beer Temple, and Bitter Pops all got it yesterday, Bottles and Cans and the Beer Cellar got it the night before, I think.

    They said slow and steady on their IG, and this is certainly seeming to be accurate...

    It is BBA Beer Day, afterall! I have a BCBarleywine in the beer fridge, but I'm afraid to open it. '16 Parabola, BBA Monsters Park w/Coconut, Leche Borracho.. One of those needs to happen tonight

    So as far as I can tell, it doesn't look like Hop Butcher is delivering anything today. They said "delivery will pick back up next weekend" (which I hope/assume is a typo for "week").

    Wish I could tell ya, but I'm in the Loop, which just happens to be (ironically, for a place that used to have "South Loop" in the title) a dead zone for this beer.
    Yeah, I can't begin to theorize as to why it's taking this long, but I also have no idea how many people are in on this job, what the brewing schedule is, etc.

    Yeah, I'm in the loop as well. Hard to believe good craft beer stores are pretty much non-existent downtown
