I don't remember being upset about anything until the club was discontinued. I'm sure there were 5-10, I'd even go as high as 15 people that were impatient with the process and complained openly. But there were numerous people, including myself that defended his timeline and lack of communication bc we saw value in the investment. They exponentially increased their number of detractors by giving up on the people that cared and supported them the most. I know for a fact that my mere $300 was a drop in the bucket to open a brewery in an expensive city like Miami. It's wasn't the money that I really take issue with, it's the lack of faith in people that loved his product and were willing to wait years in order to get it and have a solid guarantee that we would continue to have first right of refusal to keep supporting the man and his business.

I know they still don't need my money bc they are growing and pumping out beers more than ever before...But it's a good thing they don't need the money bc they certainly keep giving cause for me to spend it somewhere else.

Got to try Powerup Peach at Supercon and I would kill to see it canned. Probably my fav JW IPA.

And on this weekend's canned releases -- Gourdita is a stunner.

Have to see about lining it up against what was my reigning favorite pumpkin beer, <= 2013 750ML Good Gourd

 

Gourdita is the best pumpkin beer I've ever had, can't wait to see what it's like after a year in barrels. JWB continues to knock it out the park with these releases

Gourdita is definitely one of the best pumpkin beers I've had. BA version would/will? be killer.... Wild card I thought was his best IPA yet, a true NE ipa. Hopefully this means they're dialed in for the dodgeball series!

Just tried Haterade at MD day on Saturday and loved it. Any plans to bottle or can this for a later release?

 

I pray to the beer gods on a daily basis for it. I want that to happen just as much as anybody! But as of now, there are no plans for that.

How was MD Day? How were the beers?

 

how was the cherry chocolate stout? if anyone has one ft, let me know!!! fruited stouts are my kryptonite!

 

Can't blame them. Now they need to return the favor, + send us a keg of Mornin' Delight!

 

It's actually pretty good. Not as thick as Jonathan'a stouts usually are, but still very tasty. Cherries are all over this beer. We've still got some left at the brewery, so if you know anybody here, they can just grab one for you.

 

I think most of the attendees at MD Day can...and have. Could you imagine the shitshorm if TG announced they were bringing MD to a JWB event and then it was consumed by staff and never made available to your attendees? That's how a lot of attendees at MD Day felt on Saturday.

 

Wait, this was serious? Thought it was a joke. People were legitimately complaining about this? How was this even confirmed?
