I'll go out max two months on most "commercial" IPAs. Usual rotation is Smutty, Ipswich, Revolution, Long Trail/Otter Creek, and a few others. Sierra Nevada is pretty much the only brewery I trust beyond that. Their beers hold up forever and even when the hops fade are damn tasty. When it comes to local 4-pack IPAs, they fall off dramatically after a month. I always feel like a jerk passing up on beer that isn't as fresh as I'd like, but there's just so much choice now it's hard not to be picky.

Yeah, I saw it yesterday at M&R in Farmington, never heard of it, looked at the bottom of the can to see it was canned 10/3 and figured I couldn't lose. Guy at the front said it just came in that day. @ichorNet review is spot on and much more eloquent than I can ever come up with. This is going to be a staple in this house for a while. Well, with all of the other staples, of course.

Picked up the 10/3 canning run of Free Flow in Milford, CT. today and it's wonderful. At $8.99 6pk., this brew can't be beat. Another home run from Mike and the crew. Keep up the good work Otter Creek!

Looking forward to trying it but Hasn't hit stores in Chittenden county VT yet. I just don't understand why the Burlington area consistently gets OC later than other areas when we are so close to the brewery

this baffles me too, i just went into two stores seeing if they had it; neither did. not sure if baker is just sitting on OC's product or OC hasn't actually gotten their allotment out to baker yet, but usually they're pretty good about getting stuff out quick when they get it.

Yeah, I saw Kay's wine and spirits in Hartford had it on facebook at $10.99 as well...ouch. Makes ya scratch your head and wonder how much profit these stores need to make of a case of I.P.A :grimacing:
