Refunds for 2015 Regular BCBS and 2015 Prop

Sent mine in on August 15. Got the refund yesterday.

 

I received my check for 45 Friday, refund mailed end of august.

 

Good to hear people are getting their refunds. A friend who mailed his the day after I mailed mine got his refund a few days ago and I'm still waiting. I'm sure it's not a perfect, first in first out system. I had several bottles while he had only 2 which maybe got his through faster? Not in panic mode yet but knowing refunds are being received gives me hope.

 

Don't give up hope y'all, my check came today!!! I had quite a few bottles too so don't think GI is not going to refund due to the number of bottles you have.

GI Received 8/24 per tracking
Refund check arrived 10/14

Under 2 months overall, not bad!

 

Had a bottle of BCBS '15 @ The Common Table in Dallas tonight. Date was 11NOV15... didn't catch the time. Tasted as good as ever.

We had a bottle of FW XVII next to it. While I understand that the FW is a blend, it tasted like water compared to the BCBS. Grateful to keep finding healthy examples of the 2015 batch.

 

This is crap. I just found out about this recall today. They just set some arbitrary date for all returns to be submitted? Your product has issues and because I have a life outside of this website I'm expected to take a loss?

 

It was a voluntary recall on their part (not forced by any govt agency), they had to expend effort so can't go on forever, and there is no good way for them to notify buyers. But - I'd be upset too, to be stuck with bad product, particularly when they urge you to age it.

 

I don't understand why there has to be any end date for a recall. You have a defined maximum you would ever have to provide refunds for. You have to assign a larger number of people to deal with it early on. As the refunds trickle down it becomes something customer service deals with as part of normal business. Just bad business to screw your customers when you know the most likely way the info spreads is by word of mouth and then you put a time limit in for fixing the situation. The time limit actually pisses me off more than the hassle of dealing with a bad product. For once I might be done with GI entirely.

 

Lesson learned! Spend more time on BA!

 

Received my refund today for 1 lonely bottle :-(

 

I was on here getting pissed that I just found out about my infected BCBS dates from last year, after the refund. But this unpissed me. mostly. thanks

Got my refund today. Sent in near the deadline.

 

Got mine Monday $315.

Not pissed at GI anymore, I'll buy bcbs + bcbbw if I see it this year. Totally understand those who won't though, if I hadn't gotten my refund I'd be in the latter group.

 

Refund arrived yesterday. I sent mine in a couple days before the deadline.

 

Mailed my info on August 29th and got my refund on just under 2 cases on October 17th.

 

I sent my 4 neck labels and pics on Sept. 13th as I didn't find out about the infection until days prior. Haven't received a refund yet. But...

I put my 4 bottles in the fridge and have opened 2 in the last couple of weeks dated 10/9/15 and have noticed absolutely no off-flavors. Sounds like I'm lucky so I'm fine if my refund never comes.

I think I'll skip Black Friday this year so they can prove they have their shit together. That or I'll buy 1 of each instead of investing a couple hundred like I usually do.

 

I was beginning to worry that mine was lost, but just got my check. For perspective for anyone else waiting:
Sent 7 labels on 1 Sept and received the refund check on 21 Oct.

And yes, I will be using that to buy more BCBS this year...
