Was the slowest line in quite some time. Maybe the merch table slowed things down. That was the slowest line at the ferm anniversary party too.

Things could of been done so much more efficiently at both the Ferm and the Cafe...

The separate merch table was a bad idea. Should have just had 3 stations running through the cans and bottles and merch all together.

Still, I expected I'd spend 2 hours in line and I spent 2 hours in line. Can't really complain.

The growler line was insane, looked like people were waiting well over an hour for fills... The

At Ferm? I'm over at the cafe, and they have 10 or so growlers up on the bar to be filled with BBOV but it's not crowded so I am having a beer and waiting. Probably take about 20-30 minutes.

Still wish they'd pre-fill growlers. Seems like it would be easier on both patrons and staff to do so.

At noon, I got a table at the ferm and watched the people that were near me at the door and they were in line for fills the entire time I was there until about 2 ish. They definitely should have prefilled. If I were closer I would go back and get one, but definitely wasn't waiting in that line

It was a nice morning to line up. The staff did good with the line organizing.. keeping blatant cutters at bay. It was chill, like @GlenMillsBeer mentioned It was obvious most there were muling or trading and had little interest in the actual beer.

It would be fun if people were excited actually drink Tired hands beer not tade it or sell it. IMO they should not have filled growlers of the BA OV and had it draft only for the day; or as previously mentioned only sell pre-filled growlers but that would take up a lot of space and be a logistical nightmare if someone knocked over the pre-filled Barrel aged growler mountain.

I'm excited! Also I took advantage of this giant line to trade older stuff with people from out of town. Had a great experience this morning just buying the bottles and cans and not trying to eat or wait for growlers.

nice, I'm not sure what the people in line around you were like but the only thing I heard mentioned all morning was what the "value" of what these beers were. Then talk about trading them and watching people trade everything right in line like you did. Also saw plenty of folks get full allotments walk 20 ft across the street from where they were sold and hand them off for cash. I just feel like half the line was there for the wrong reasons.

Edit: I would of loved to hear anyone say I can't wait to drink this or that but I didn't hear anything of the sort all day.

We are talking about Tired Hands, right? That is what happens for every one of their more celebrated releases- milkshakes and the like. I have only bought the max one time, double watermelon milkshake because a buddy wanted a 4 pack of it. And you know what? I wish I hadn't bought the full allotment at the end of the day after opening and drinking it. Who trades for all this and do they ever trade for it again after their first trade?

My favorite beer that tired hands makes made it worth the wait, and yea no one is getting these but me. Also the 4 oz pour of bourbon void made it all worthwhile. That was the creamiest BA stout I think I've had. Wish they never filled growlers and just had an endless supply on tap for the year to come, #dreambeer

Fun day, great beer, met some really nice people as well. Growler fill was a mission in a half, but at least the weather was nice. Made waiting on long lines way more tolerable.

Seriously! I was mostly interested in trying the beer. I got there at noon, saw the line was down Cricket Ave, and assumed the Ferm would be a madhouse of people who had already gotten cans grabbing lunch / drinking. I walk in and there is a huge line for growlers, but no line for the bar and no wait for tables. Enjoyed a leisurely lunch, drank as much as I wanted of all the varieties of OV, then when I finished up at 2:30pm, they still had cans left.

This is my biggest pet peeve when on line people talking about trade value nonstop with no mention of how awesome a beer is. All I can think in my mind is Homer Simpson and "urge to kill rising...rising..."

Yeah I mean I'm definitely not there spending all of my time and money to not drink this beer haha. I saw the same thing you did for sure and it definitely happens all of the time but I'm lucky to get out to one of these in the first place. That being said time to finally crack open an OG void.

I assume both locations still have the BB available? Going to fill up tomorrow at lunch probably. Heard in line that there was something like 25 kegs of it?

It was a blend of regular and bourbon aged, they cut it/stepped on it out as far as they could.

So skipped the OG and went straight to the coffee and it's like a nice chocolate covered dark fruit on the nose with some coffee added to the bitterness. I just love this place. Milkshake black and tans?
