Yep. Had it on draft twice and thought it was a solid if forgettable OH IPA.

Surprise Me sounds delicious. I see it's on tap right now in the taproom. Anyone try it yet?

I got to try Surprise Me! on Saturday. It was fairly light but tropical enough to enjoy the entire pint.

I really want to try Southernhopalistic but I've come to realize that I'm not a fan of Nelson or Motueka.....

Was the last canning of mosaic anywhere as good as the first and second canning from last year summer?

Last time I had mosaic it was the bad super grassy batch that they didn't can

Really bummed that I can't make it to this release. Every beer seems very much up my alley. Oh well...I can always trade, I guess.

They've only canned Mosaic twice I believe, both runs over a year ago.

It will be interesting to revisit this beer after having a few rounds of Double Mosaic Dream and the DDH variant. Very happy to see the single hops back in rotation.

The first run was the first time they canned AGE. we went to get AGE, but it ran out just ahead of us and we took our "consolation prize" of a case of mosaic each. Later that day we fell in love with OH.

ahh I remember that fondly. I thought I was insane getting there at 8am for a 10am release and I was the 5th person in line. Boy how times have changed.

^^^ I like Motueka, but have tried hard to develop a taste for Nelson and Simcoe, and enjoy neither. Usually when an IPA has an off-putting flavor to me, it's got one of these two in it. I wonder how many beers I have to drink to learn to enjoy them (an experiment I'll gladly keep on keeping on!).

haha same here. i was the first person who struck out on the AGE, but the Mosaic was where it was at.

I really discovered it with Nelson Sauvin+Motueka released a month or so back. I know I'm in the minority but that beer is so hard to drink for me.

Yeah I only bought a 4 pack of it and forever regretted it, still remember it as my favorite beer by other half

Any guesstimates re: lines/wait for this Saturday? Based on the reaction here I'd say it's not going to be anything crazy.

The aroma was great, flavor of the beer to me was very resin heavy.
