I assume others know this, but it seems that the Western side of town gets it tomorrow. Bloomington Total Wine, Top 10 SLP.
Am I right on that? I guess Maple Grove has it, so maybe SW side is Friday.

Couldn't resist, grabbed two from TW for $39.44. Brings down my cost basis from ale jail which was $44.xx out the door.

$30, gone. Had to get to 2 separate places to get 6 cans!

I can't wait to ride the pontoon next summer and sit back and crush a few cans of Rum King.
Sun tans and barrel aged stouts!

Has anyone tried infusing Rum King with anything yet? I picked up some coconut flakes from the store last night that I plan on infusing with a can.

Speaking of Rum King and coconut... Maybe Indeed has done it with a cask already, but if they haven't, they should think about doing a Rum King variant with coconut. If they have, they should do it more! I know coconut is be one of the hot (hype) adjuncts to add, but I think with rum... coconut just makes sense.

Great idea, I know BA Don't Worry About It stout currently has a coconut version kegged. They should be bottling it soon. I think it tastes great. Of course, that was bourbon and not rum.
I believe @mrpeterandthepuffers had some at Darkness days.

How is this tasting without homebrew adjuncts? Unfortunately busy over the next week but considering picking another 4 pack

Still enjoy it. I still find it boozy but as it warmed up and more flavor came through was really good.

Interesting. I like last year's far better. The rum seems muted this year. But that's only a sample of one can, so take it with a grain of salt.

Thought this years was very good had a creamy chocolate/vanilla shake taste with 1/2 a shot of mellow rum. Really like the 12oz serving.

Avery Momi Hiwa is the main example I can think of that is rum-barrel aged with coconut added (although might be harder to track down since it came out a few years ago). If you like your beers sweeter than sweet, this one definitely does the trick.

Death by coconut is coming out soon right? That is my favorite "mixing" beer... Add a splash of DBC to a BA stout, and voila poor mans 2013 prop.
