I agree with some in the fact that I'm surprised lines haven't been an issue yet.. We are talking about the busy town of Ardmore.. its not like HF, Tree House, Alchemist, ect. People aren't waiting in the middle of a field or dirt road. Its hard to speculate what the best way to release cans would be but my immediate thought is increase production like someone perviously mentioned with Trillium.

Yeah it is but at least it sounds like a lot of food and beer. Has anyone here been to one of these dinners? What are they like?

I feel way more strongly against mules than a second line dip. But the mules nothing can be done, people are free to do with their beer as they wish whereas the double dip can be policed and stopped (sort of).

Doesn't look like he was the only one. In the TH facebook group someone also posted that 1 of their only void growlers exploded and another one foamed out when he opened it.

The problem with online presale is they'd have to spend a fortune in replacing fried servers from all the Mule-Bots that crash the site in the first 3 seconds of going live every time.

When we are talking about "exploded" we mean the cap popped and the beer gushed everywhere right? Not like shrapnel from glass etc?

No, we mean like shrapnel from glass.

Oh, well yeah that is a problem. I know someone had linked a thread dedicated to it before but I have never had that issue nor heard of it from other breweries? Ok just did a quick refresh on all of that, man I think I would rather talk about lines.

anyone know if bourbon barrel Only Void is still on at the Cafe? thinking of swinging by after work for a growler.

also, how is it? looks like the reviews are excellent on untappd.

Had it yesterday on tap. One of the best beers I've had by them, if not the best.

Can someone explain why people aren't making a bigger deal about this? You could be seriously hurt if this is true. I once had an overheated bottle explode in my hands and near my face and it was not pretty.

It was a huge deal and people were pretty vocal. Tired Hands never addressed it publicly but to their credit they did seem to fix the issue, until now I guess.

High Road and Hop Hands tomorrow.

If you hate lines, this might be the one for you, no way this will be crazy.

Ditto. Had a taster yesterday and picked up 2 growlers of it. Highly recommend the coffee only void as well! Well done TH!

The only guess I have here is that since nobody reported losing an eye or whatever the level of outrage was less?

As was already discussed, Tired Hands never addressed this issue in an open fashion. Maybe their lawyer told them to remain quiet here (e.g., plausible deniability from a court case perspective?)?

    Cheers!

I feel like I should be opening my fridge with a huge towel going forward, just to be safe in case one of these things decides it was jostled the wrong way and wants to explode. It's bad enough I'm one of the lucky owners of a Note 7..now I have to worry about my beer trying to kill me too.

I really don't understand why all breweries/taprooms don't go to the stainless steel vacuum insulated growlers such as this one. They are better than the glass in every way (yeah, I suppose other than cost).

That, or keep them wrapped up in a 30 gallon trash bag.

Or they could just let us fill growers that won't explode...
