I mean, there really isn't anything we can do about it, but if it's true, kind of sucks. + if it is, sorry for those who it happened to. But again, not sure if it's people pissed because they didn't get any, or if the staff actually took it all.

 

So I just saw some of the Snapchat screenshots. Wow. I would've complained as well

 

The Toppling Goliath thread is locked now, but what was the comment "Anybody that knows anything about JWB should not be surprised by this" inferring? That JWB staff were at the Toppling Goliath event, and actually drank their own keg of beer?

 

Goes to show the stupidity in some people. We literally had absolutely nothing to do with anything, except send kegs, but trust me when I tell you that I already expected some to find a way to blame us.

 

Can't blame them.

 

Tons of info coming soon in regards to our 2nd Anniversary Party, which will take place at the massive Mana Property in the heart of Wynwood, + can accommodate thousands of people, comfortably. The list of breweries we have coming is pretty damn impressive, but want to confirm a few more before we release the details. There will be a VIP section, + each ticket, VIP or Regular admission, will come with a bottle. Which one/s are TBD. Hopefully I'll have everything, soon.

Toppling Goliath sent Morning Delight on the first anniversary and the wakefield staff didn't drink it up....I may have drank it all but the early bird gets the MD
Anyways looking forward the second anniversary, definitely loved the last one and the fact that it was in my back yard and didn't have to book a room to attend was a plus.

We’re excited to announce WakeFest 2017 as we gear up for our 2 Year Anniversary Celebration.

Date: Saturday, February 18, 2017.
Location: 318 NW 23rd Street, Miami, FL 33127 (Mana Wynwood).
Time: 12PM-TBA

WakeFest 2017 will host over 70+ craft breweries from across the nation and internationally-wide, alongside some of your favorite JWB brews. We will have some of Miami’s finest food trucks, live music, VIP packages, and special release bottles.

General Admission:
Cost: $75
Includes: Entrance, WakeFest 2017 tasting glass, all you can drink, and one special release bottle.
Tentative General Admission bottle:
The Golden Ticket Imperial Stout with sea salt, chocolate, and caramel.

VIP (Only 300 tickets available):
Cost: $250
Includes: Early entrance, VIP area with specialty beers, all you can eat, all you can drink, VIP commemorative tasting glass, and four specialty release bottles.

Tentative VIP Bottle Package releases (1 bottle of each):
-Bourbon Barrel Key Lime Pie:
(collaboration with @bottlelogicbrewing).
-Desperado:
Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout with chilies, cinnamon, and coco nibs.
-Golden Ticket:
Imperial Stout with sea salt, chocolate, and Carmel.
-BA Big Poppa -It was all a dream:
(collaboration with @abnormalbeerco, @JPIZO, and @official_mostracoffee).
A 17% bourbon maple syrup barrel aged imperial stout with coffee, coconut, and vanilla.

Work out a hotel deal for the attending brewery staff and folks who might consider booking a flight and making a trip out of it... The weather here in February should be great.

 

Ticket prices will probably keep me away . I wish there was a cheaper, bottle-less option.

Not a bad deal for a single person. But if I go, then I need a ticket for my gf or else that tentative bottle of The Golden Ticket is going to be the only thing in bed with me that night

 

And all you can drink. Thats a better deal than 95% of festivals out there
