That's probably what I was remembering then. I know my grouping was called right around the same time CBS tapped so I wanted to get that pour hoping I not to miss the group for bottles. I didn't win the battle and was underwhelmed by CBS so should have stuck with the bottle line.

Glad I wasn't the only one underwhelmed by CBS.

Last year's was pretty extensive and impressive on paper but unless Bros is not updating their page that often this year looks to be a lot less. This is what the page is showing so far (* is confirmed beers):
    • Hardywood – Trickery*
    • Crooked Run – TBD
    • The Answer – TBD
    • J. Wakefield – TBD
    • Bullfrog – Jong Bruin Kreik*
    • Champion – TBD
    • The Veil – TBD
    • Ocelot – TBD
    • Founders – KBS*
There's also the Barrel Aged Tap Takeover at Capital Ale House on Friday night (11th). That list also appears to be slowly coming together.
    - 2014 Goose Island Bourbon County
    - 2015 Goose Island Bourbon County
    - 2015 Hardywood Park Craft Brewery Bourbon Cru
    - 2015 Hardywood Park Craft Brewery Bourbon GBS
    - 2015 Avery Brewing Company PumpKYn
    - Avery Brewing Company Uncle Jacob's Stout
    - Boulevard Brewing Company Rye on Rye on Rye

Gotta keep check on fb event for updates. I'm hoping with 3 1/2 to go they make more updates more often.

Is anyone aware of a place to camp within a few miles of the brewery? The only place I can find that is open is the Shenandoah Valley KOA which is 20 miles away. I'm not big on KOA's either. I'm really hoping for a free place but completely open to any suggestions.

Around the corner from the brewery there is a Roses home store, from what I have gathered this is a pretty popular spot for homeless people, you might be able to pitch a tent with them. We will be camping as well ( well we will be camping in the RV that we park in random parking lots for the weekend)

I was thinking something a little more woodsy and less stabby. I guess I should be a liitle more cautious when I use the phrase "completely open to any suggestions". It looks like George Washington and Jefferson National Park allows random camping. Does anyone have any suggestions that may be just inside the park off of hwy's 33, 250, 259 or 610 etc?

I don't know anything about camping in the area but if you don't care about facilities or a designated campsite you can find any open patch of land within the National Forest and camp at no cost.

If you would prefer identified camping areas then check out North River Ranger District or Lee Ranger District site noted in the link below. Click on the specific spots and they will show you the fee, if any, amenities, etc. If you didn't mind a little farther away then take a look at the Sherando Lake Recreation Area of the Glenwood & Pedlar Ranger Section. There's quite a few breweries, cideries and a distillery nearby (Blue Mountain, Wild Wolf, Devils Backbone, Blue Mountain Barrel House, Bold Rock Cidery, Blue Toad Cider, Silverback Distillery) if you wanted to explore more in the area. Probably an hour from Harrisonburg. The other two are much closer though.

There are some great camping spots within an hour, but not really any that I know of that are within 30 minutes of the brewery. GWNF has some great spots that are free to use and are what I would call "primitive campsites." I go to the Todd Lake area, not too far from Natural Chimneys. It's about 45 minutes away.

Switzer Lake also has some very cool places to camp, and is maybe 35 mins from Harrisonburg, right off of 33, very close to the WVa line. No swimming since it's actually a reservoir and a major water source for Harrisonburg (not that you'll be swimming in Nov anyways).

There are also some awesome spots off of Skyline Drive in SNP. Campsites and little trail cabins for AT through hikers that you can rent for like 30 bucks a night. Some of these require mile long hikes to get to the camping areas, but some don't. Best way to get there is 33 W, entering the park through the Elkton entrance. This would require a pass to the park though ($30ish for an annual pass, 20 for a day pass I think), so I won't go into too much detail unless you're interested in buying the pass. These campsites in SNP are probably closer to an hours drive.

They won't announce it, even to Horizon Society, until the the day before Resolute Day I believe.

Any details on this bottle share? Didn't the NC people organize it with the hotel last year? It would be a shame not to have it, its my favorite part of the weekend!
