No proxies last year, but you COULD change the name on the ticket after the fact, if you had someone who was going and not picking up their own beers...

Yeah, not sure they will allow that this time, and if you buy and they don't, you will be out the money, so...

I heard Westbrook dumped all of this years BA Cake into the Atlantic as an offering to the gods before the hurricane. Sucks about the beer, but at least the city wasn't washed away!

Westbrook apparently took some Pappy Cake to a free tasting event at the new Edmunds Oast bottle shop aka Charleston Beer Exchange new location. Jesus.

I believe it's at the original CHS Exchange location...for the moving sale.

Correct, sorry for the misinformation. But indeed it was at the old store. I also got a sample pour and it was indeed fantastic. Very generous for WB to donate what looked like several bottles of this uber rare variant for an event that really had no benefit to them. Exceptional deals from CBX too, they said 25% off but pretty sure it was more than that, I got 3 large beers (one of which was a Gillian which is usually $30) and a sicko beer sign for $40 total.

I will miss the nostalgia of the old downtown location for CBX (it was literally one of the very first places I ever went to in Charleston), but I have to say that I am very much looking forward to the new store. The downtown store had gotten so inconvenient to get to with the ever increasing traffic, tourists, and parking issues.

Yes. A storm of neckbeards took them. All of them.

I hope it sees more distro, but I know it won't. Mexican Cake is by far my favorite spiced stout and I feel like I'll have to trade pretty heavily for this since it probably won't see IA/WI distro.

Feel free to throw me out a number on how many it would take for a MD, Assassin, or KBBS

Lol I wish. Spent 2 hours on BPT trying to get an MD ticket and the Assassin and KBBS releases this year will almost certainly be silent releases so we're all SOL.

I believe its Brewery only, but Evil Twin said it was dropping at both Evil Twin and Westbrook,

    So that a, plus?
