Hey guys, just recently got a kegging system with two taps. I figure one tap will have some hoppy beer, right now I have Kern River Citra DIPA, a clone recipe from the brewing network. And, I'm also going to brew Jamil's Nutcastle,a Northern English Brown Ale for the other tap. It got me to thinking about what everyone's house/regular beers are?

Something hoppy and a saison. Certainly not all I make but I always try to have those on.

    1-Oatmeal brown ale
    2-Hoppy dark mild
    3-IPA/DIPA

The brown is the real "house beer". The others vary.

    cheers!

I make the same APA grain bill with different hops pretty frequently. I'm not quite at the point where I've been able to get a pipeline going (I've been brewing double batches for friends' weddings about every three months for about a year, so fermenter space issues and only having 3 cornies have prevented me from keeping beers on regularly), so I don't really have a house beer. But when I finally land on that APA combo that hits the sweet spot, I plan to lock that recipe in as a year round offering. Unfortunately, my best has been with Nelson Sauvin, so that won't really work for a house beer due to availability and price of those hops.

Right now: none house beers though most have been brewed numerous times
    1. German pilsner
    2. Bitter with Amarillos
    3. Fruit beer- apricot
    4. Another batch of Galaxy IPA
    5. Belgian Wit with Sorachi Ace
    6. Cyclone Red with heavy Nelson Sauvin just carbing up

Waiting. American Stout. Tons of random big beers in bottles

Edit: misread the post. House beers I don't really do since I constantly change up. But my IPA is the same grain bill but I switch up the hops quite often

The recipe always changes, but I like to do single malt, low gravity, pale ales with a lot of late hop additions.

I brew a pretty fantastic Honey RyePA that I tend to have on tap more often than not...I also brew my vanilla bean brown quite a bit.

Four faucets. I usually have either an APA or a DIPA, sometimes both, a Stout of varying gravity, a Cream Ale or other generic sort of 'beer' for the masses, and a rotating faucet of whatever I felt like brewing the previous month - that one tends to be all over the map.

Kolsch, German Pils, Dusseldorf Alt, Robust Porter, and a Westy Blonde-type hoppy patersbier are my year-round go-to beers. Also American IPA in winter through spring and then Saison takes over for the other half of the year.

For about half the year (until I run out of the previous fall's homegrown hop harvest) I have a cascade / centennial blonde ale ready to go that is a huge hit with non craft folks.

I also always try to have something weizen going (Hefeweizen in the spring summer, dunkel / weizenbock in the fall / winter).

However, I think I would probably get burned out on any beer if I was drinking it (almost) year round.

    Cheers!

If you mean somthing that's always on tap, then I guess I don't have a house beer. Though I would always have something pale and something dark. Today's lineup...

    Kolsch
    Robust Porter
    APA
    Coming Soon: Witbier

I've been trying to keep something dark and something light in my two kegs since I have started kegging about 11 months ago. The darker beers include alt, American brown, and (currently) oatmeal stout, and the lighter beers include Kolsch, American Pils, and (currently) rye pale ale.

I also bottle some of my brews. I reserve bottling for beers that I may not drink very fast and might work well for keeping. I also bottle out of necessity, if the two kegs are full. And I'll bottle if I brew small bacthes. During this span, I've bottled a smoked schwarzbier (small batch), Belgian dubbel (for keeping), saison (space issues), and a Berliner weisse with crushed grapes (slow drinker).

Yeah, unless I get off my ass and change that liquid line (chilis really leave a lasting impression)...I can't really put anything else on that tap anyway...maybe a regular robust porter/stout or something, but that's about it.

This is another reason why I will bottle certain beers.
