I have whatever amount two micro fridges hold with the supply being regularly replenished.

Started the year at 88 bottles, which was down from a peak of around 100.

I started with thread in June with 78, with a goal of getting down to around 50 bottles. I like have a very good, wide ranging selection ( not collection ) on hand.

Currently, I'm at 77, so not much progress since June, but at least I'm not headed in the wrong direction either.

I buy and trade for beer that I enjoy and or is new to me to experience all the best the beer world has to offer.
Lost count after 447. I could may be even in 500+ category.
    150. Probably around 50-60 I keep in temperature controlled wine cooler, then another 50 Casey beers, and maybe another 50 random BA barleywines, BA stouts and sours to age and see how they develop.
Yes, and no. I drink more than I should to get down on bottle count. I'm looking for more lopsided trades like shipping 8 beers to get 2, etc.

My issue revolves around awesome beers like Bell's Expedition, Sierra Nevada Bigfoot, Great Divide Hibernation, Eisbocks and those dangerous easy drinking devil beers that you want to buy 2 of every year to age and taste absolutely amazing in the 3-5 year marks.

Me either until I got there. I have a basement that is conducive to cellaring beer - that's part of it. I have a bit more expendable income these days - that also contributes.

Hoarding beer seems obnoxious to me. I started my cellar with a small wooden box and the thought that I would just store a few things away as aging projects.

Well... A few more lead to a few more and then a few more, etc. ,etc., ad infinitum.

I suppose it depends on how you count "bottles" and "cellar".

Officially, I hover between 40 and 50 that are in an actual cellar for longer term storage. A handful of those are 12 or 16 oz.

I also have a small-ish beer fridge for pale ales and other stuff I intend to drink faster. It probably holds 30-40, mostly 12 or 16 oz.

Unfortunately, I also have a pile of beer that doesn't fit in either. I try to keep this to a minimum, but it's a little over a case right now.

As you could guess, I would like to at least eliminate the spillover. Making some room in the cellar would be nice too since I'm obviously going to buy more stuff. Since it's stout season, it will probably be a losing battle for the near future.

I am at 10 beers right now (most BA stouts) and hopefully will be at 0 soon. Have switched mentality from cellaring to 'drink as I go' primarily for 2 reasons: tired of starting at bottles I haven't tried yet, and I've found I like beers (BA stouts specifically) when fresh than with age on them with very few exceptions.

Right now I have 40 hoppy cans and ~ 40 other brews of various styles that can be cellared for a while.

I was at 122 three weeks ago, down to 85 right now. Still planning to go down until there's nothing outside either the mini fridge or the "food" fridge.

Somewhere around 20 or so now but thats only because I'm still working through my latest batch of homebrew. Usually I buy a sixer for the weekend, maybe two if I there's a party, and work my way through that until the next weekend.

Probably between 80-100. Because I have a problem....lol. the majority are been cellared and the daily drinkers get replaced each week.

Thought I would give this thread a kick since I see this being discussed on an unrelated thread.

For me: Its been almost two years since I started this thread. My bottle count is 87. So I've reduced it by one bottle

Being in three beer clubs and a short drive to releases at many local breweries makes keeping the bottle count down still a challenge. I seem to hover between 70 and 100 bottles. As long as I keep it below 100, I'm OK with it.

It's a bit under 50 now. Got a haul of 24 which are unpacked, may post a pic tomorrow! Then they'll go into the fridge. Would say 50 will be maxing out the space I have for beer. My "cellar" is in the stores and online

I have 1 bottle and 2 cans left. Why? I'm broke and there are 2 liquor stores on the mile drive home from work if I really needed to buy more

These days I seem to hover right around 2-2.5 cases. So 48-60. 2 sixers in the fridge while the rest "cellar".

Would really like to get it down to the 1-1.5 range again.

I don't know the count, but I have a full size fridge about 3/4 full. The bottom shelf is ipas and must be drank down before buying more. The rest are dark beers, some to be aged and some to be drank. A handful are ones I'm slowly choking down, mistakes made at the beer store.
