I may not even go down now, I bought the morning ticket because I need to be back home at a reasonable time on Sunday. It's sounding like the morning is going to be a cluster F, so I may just try and sell off my ticket.

I think it won't be too bad by 1-2. I usually show up around 2-3 and its smooth sailing. That is sorta what I am planning to do. Granted I have an afternoon ticket, but show up, have some beers and then slowly get out of there.

Where did I call anyone out?
All I stated is that I'd never do it, nor understand it.
Maybe you should read more and post less, as your reading comprehension could use some work. That is calling someone(you) out.

You posted in a forum that is dedicated to a brewery (hoof hearted) about not understanding buying a ticket or standing in line for beer. Your comment had no purpose since it wasn't even directed at the underlying topic.

That would have been a much more appropriate first response. Sorry to crap on this thread, even if I don't understand it. I'll see myself out now.

A little late to the party, but damn is Voltan delicious. I only picked up a can, and wish I grabbed a 4 pack. One of the best standard RIS I have had in a while.

    How is the line?

Parking was tight and there were more people at HH than I've seen in a long time. I've had a few iffy beers recently from Hoof, but Dragonsaddle is freaking awesome. So much Citra and the ABV is near impossible to decipher.

Got there at 1:30 and there were like 5 people in line in front of us. They closed the doors like 15 mins after we got there and were gonna reopen at 3. Dragon saddle and wet when slippery are both drinking great. Voltan nitro was also great.

Got there at 2:02 and they didn't let us in to get our cans and go until exactly 3. We had just left Cleveland a little earlier than planned after the stout brunch, because we specifically checked in to see if Hoof was letting people from the afternoon session get their allotments in the morning. So much for getting home earlier than expected, but, in any case, DS definitely is an explosive bomb of fruity dankness.

$17/4 pack makes it the most expensive can release. Sure didn't stop people from buying a case.

Wasn't that big of a crowd at 4 for me. Waited 10-15 for my cans and a pint. Was damn juicy and super crushable. I saw one person walk out without the full allotment. I would have easily paid him for his last four pack. A lot of citra and a lot of deliciousness. Debating whether to have one tonight but I'm holding that off till tomorrow.

I got there at 4:30. Waited maybe 10 minutes for cans/growler. Had two pints and some grub, drove home. It was smooth sailing. With going that late, you do gamble with the taps kicking, but this was great. The pork burrito and jerk taco were both great too. I'm a big fan of the split releases based on this experience. The last KD release was a bit nutsy and long wait times, so I'm more than happy with sunday's experience.

I was told that there probably won't be a can release next week, but EWS Eureka, Cultrider, and Yann BandaƱa (collab with Austin Street Brewery) are coming up next.

They were dry hopping something while I was there. Couldn't tell what it was. It it was bubbling pretty hard so I would go with cultrider since my experience in home brewing has taught me that anything dark ferments very vigorously.

Austin Street's brewer was in the background at Hoof, so I'd assume Yann was probably started this weekend...?

Trillin' and Chillin' should be close down the pipeline too.

Any idea what happens to the left over cans? I had two tickets and didn't get to make it out.
