Hey Florida BAs, I'm going to be in Winter Park on Black Friday. I wondering if there's somewhere close by I might pick up Bourbon County. Taking my daughter to LegoLand, daddy needs to get something out of the deal.(besides seeing my daughter happy) Also, any place nearby with good food and beer? Thanks for any help.

 

Last year the ABC in Haines City had regular BCBS, as did the one in Sebring. No idea about this year with smaller yields.

 

GB bottle shop is doing an event nearby, they've posted details on their Facebook.

 

I'll be in Crystal River for Thanksgiving, before heading down to Tampa. Is Inoculum worth the stop? If they're even open.

 

Hey, Jacob, their beers are really tasty but they don't have a tasting room. They do 100% of their sales via mail order.

If you need/want a place to stop between CR and Tampa, perhaps check out Marker 48 Brewing (check their site for hours, especially during the holiday week), which is only a mile or two west of the Suncoast Parkway on State Road 50 (Exit 46). I haven't yet been but buddies say it's a nice setup and they're making solid beers (they've been pouring at local beer fests for a couple of years now).

Well I had a great time in Tampa. Did a tour at Coppertail which was a lot of fun. Only seven dollars and you get a beer (plus two beers on the tour) and you get a pint glass at the end of it. It's probably the most beautiful taproom of any brewery I've visited.

Did CCB and got a pour of the Hazelnut Vanilla Marshal Zhukov, which was delicious. I loved how thick it was. Coating the side of the glass. Also got a six pack of not even two week old Jai Alai and it already tastes malty. I feel like this has happened to me the last few times. I may just stick with MIA Mega Mix because I tried that for the first time this trip, and it was well worth the blind buy.
