Yes, toured their brewery 2 weeks ago and they will be canning before end of the year I believe.

8oz can 8 packs sounds like the perfect format for high abv stuff in cans

I believe 21st amendment does this for at least one of their high ABV beers.

I'd love to see Namaste, Peche Festiva and Piercing Pils in cans. Ultimate beach light beer variety pack there!

A late reply to this but I agree. I live in Dover, DE and it is hard to get fresh 60 here. Beer distro in DE is limited to liquor stores only. No Wal Mart, Food Lion, WaWa, Royal Farms etc. Every neighborhood liquor store has DFH and buys x amount to get better pricing. Dover has 25+ liquor stores. I live 30 minutes from Milton and it is hard to find core DFH beers within 60-90 days here. If I have to drive south I will try to stop in Milton and buy at the source but fresh 60 here in Dover is hard to find.

That's a shame, oddly enough I can find fresh DFH beers here in the Philly region again and I see DFH 60 Min, within weeks of bottling often.

If they really want to get in on the can craze they should re-introduce Shelter as their "low-ABV offer". 5% is still too high to be called session (at least by some people) but just look at All Day IPA (4.7%) for proof that people want a low ABV beer in cans.

    Re-branded Shelter 45 Minute IPA?
    4.5 ABV, 45 IBU's seems about right.

Yeah, forgot about their Shelter (brewery only). If they did a $14.99 12 pack can variety and include 3 Shelter Pale Ales, 3 Piercing Pils, 3 Namastes and 3 Festina Peche and that would be a huge hit in volume sales during the summer months. Of course when I usually see Piercing Pils & Festina 4 packs for $9.99 on store shelves...doubt the price I mentioned for 12 pack cans would be reasonable to DFH.

$13.99 60 minute 6-pack bottles in my area (northeast PA). You don't see a price break usually between cans & bottles on a lot of the crafts/imports for some reason unless they run a case quantity discount. You would think less weight in shipping with the cans and only can ringers instead of 6-pack cartons would bring the price down...... Idk maybe the local suppliers are getting them cheaper and charging the same price as the bottles.
