This is incredible! Will this be just as available as the other variety packs or will it be a more limited offering?

    1) Thank God for the expansion, because I'm pretty sure that's what made this variety pack happen.

    2) Guaranteed, this is the most excitement over a variety pack-ever.

    3) I want several, but these guys are big enough (certainly Batch 5000) to where I'll be good after a bottle.

    4) I never thought in my life I'd be a squealing fanboy over a variety pack, but here we are.

That might be the greatest variety pack ever. Anything I have ever said that was even remotely sad about for the 2017 schedule has been replaced with hoppiness

Beyond stoked for this variety 12 pack! Had all of these beers except for batch 5000. I have been wanting to see stachebender again since their 10th anniversary party. This is one of the best IPA's I've ever had and probably the best MI IPA I've ever had.

Something fun for Short's fans I came across, coincidentally the day after the new variety pack was announced.

I've been re-listening to some of the Short's Casts since the last one was released. One was Flagship Series: Space Rock. They discuss the history of the brew, the name, and the artwork. Tony Hansen brought up that the Space Rock label is, in his mind, part of a mini-comic book about Joe's journey to find those tasty space nuggets (the perfect hop blend).

First there's Space Rock, where Joe begins his journey:

Joe's mission is a success! He finds those nuggets and returns to Earth (Hellacious Rock) :

Upon his return, Joe shares his newfound alien nuggets with the world (Stache Bender) :

Not really news or anything, just something fun. Although if Short's decided to surprise release Hellacious Rock you could do a flight of the journey yourself, I guess.

Heh, yep. But the goddam Tigers aren't in the postseason and a smartphone makes it too easy to multitask. Usually listen to a couple different podcasts while doing stuff around the house or in the car. Except when I'm toting the kids off to school, they find dad's "talk shows" boring, unless it's one of Big Finish's Doctor Who stories (yes, I'm the kind of guy who listens to the modern equivalent of radio plays). I will admit that I spend more time discussing beer than actually drinking it!

Great time drinking with Joe and crew at Lockhart's last night. Lil' Creepster and Pumpkincrusha were on point along with Joe's stories and personality.

Assuming it will be a 12 bottle variety pack: how much do you think it will be?

    'bout tree fiddy

Seriously though, I have to imagine this will be more expensive than their previous 12pk variety offerings. My guess, $24.99-$27.99?

My guess was 25-30. The only reference I quickly saw on price on some of these was 3 years ago Aww Jeah sold for around $15 a 6 pack. And we know batch 5000 was a bit pricey. so that area isn't out of the question at all.

Hopstache has to fit in there somewhere, right? Maybe it's the first scene of the story before he rockets into space.

I thought so, too, but I couldn't remember for sure. It definitely fits as a nice bookend to Stache Bender.
