My first one of the year thanks to apocalypsezombie. Just as good as I remember from Christmas in Illinois last year.

Started with Zombie Dust. Not sure why a Michigan guy like myself went for a beer from the state that Notre Dame calls home. I blame the delicious citra for causing me to stray.

Followed that with some Short's Ale la Reverends and now FBS.

Denard--good football player, but terrible quarterback. Let's go Blue!

    Cheers.

To be fair, the Floyds are from Chicago. They bought the property literally 2 miles outside of Illinois due to how cheap it was and I-90 is quick to NWI from Chicago.

Rorbach Octoberfest keg at a work picnic today, and some Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald also. Now, ST 2X IPA, and finally some 3 philosophers.

Celebrating the first night of autumn with a Sam Adams Fat Jack. I really like this. I see more of these in my future.

Lost Abbey/New Belgium Mo' Betta Bretta....quite tasty but not as funky as I would like. Good thing I have another one to age for a bit.

Since the process of loading pictures takes way longer than it should, started the night with good ol' Pliny the Elder, then Jolly Pumpkin Oro de Calabaza and then moving on to either W.W.B.I. or Batch #1 from Crooked Stave. Either way, it is a win-win situation for me!

While listening to the new DMB album (which is fantastic by the way)

Just got off a day of work, sitting down to a tasty Lefthand Oktoberfest.
I dislike most beers in this style, but I always dig what Lefthand produces. Quality brews.

I was very unimpressed by this one. Nose good, tasted like a lager.

Had a bottle of the new Hoppin' Frog/De Molen collaboration Super-Charged Saison IPA (which is really good if you look at it as just a Belgian Ale and not a Saison or an IPA), and some Hinterland Maple Bock and Oktoberfest.
