Twin Cities Bottle Hunt - 2016 Edition

Saw one at Thomas on Friday... Tucked in the back of their vintage shelf.

 

I had it last night and thought it was fine. Thin but really good barrel

 

I thought 10/10 was the worst Sue I've had all Summer. Tasted real watery and hops were underwhelming, IMO.

 

I just got the second to last BY at Whole Foods North Loop. They also had Damien.

 

Broke down and bought a sixer of BY. I'll echo everyone else. Pretty darn good especially for 12.99. Hard to beat that.

 

At least half a dozen bottles of Jolly Russian at 1st Grand Liquors tonight if anyone is looking - I think it was 8.50 or so . . .

 

If you can't find one I have a few left. Would be open to a trade.

Will be coming into town on Wednesday and would love to find Rum King and any of the Fair State wilds. Staying in Bloomington and heading to Surly for dinner. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

cant say they still have it, but the Eden Prairie Liquors (Kowalski location) had plenty of Rum King as of last week.

 

Shorewood Liquor has just about every Fair State (If not on the shelf, ask). Also, got another case of Rum King in the cooler. Ask.

Also, Deschutes Collage 2, CD Mosaic, and another few cases of Stone Tangerine Enjoy By...

 

FYI: Waconia Brewing just came out with a Citra 2X IPA (Brewery only...yes, I tried to order it). I just tried it last night, and thought it was excellent. I think they had only like 100 bottles. Definitely worth a try.

 

Anyone seen any bigfoot hangin' around recently?

I just hope it is in a more affordable package than the $8 crowlers they have in Hudson.

 

Got plenty at Thomas (downstairs) of lots of years. Just ask. Plenty of older expedition stout too. I'm there tomorrow 4-8, Friday 12-8, Saturday 12-8. We also have plenty of eight and I can still hook people up on darkness if they need it (please don't abuse this, mainly for people who haven't gotten any)
